Two potential lovers, who never realised how much they needed each other until they met.

Bea, a black girl in a predominantly white school, believes that no one will love her and treat her as she should be treated because of the colour of her skin. However, her previous relationship with a black boy, Ryan, enlightens her and makes her realise that she can have a positive relationship with any boy no matter their skin colour.

When she meets Josh, she finds love, a love that she has never felt before. Someone that loves her for all of her imperfections and perfections.

But will it end well?

Ugh. What a fucking night. Why the hell am I waking up to Grace and Theo giggling next door? Why can't it be Bea's laugh. 


I know I fucked up, but she's not dumb enough to listen to Ryan. Surely not. Right? 


I scroll and watch stories on Instagram when - 


"WHAT THE FUCK" why did I just see Ryan and Bea. No no I must be dreaming. 


"Did you see the story bro" Theo chuckles 


"Theo it isn't fucking funny. Grace did you know about this?"

I - I. I'm just embarrassed. I thought this is something Bea would tell me. We tell each other everything. Why wouldn't she tell me this? 


I mean I know she's probably mad at me for inviting Ryan over last night. But I had to, besides me ,Ryan is the only person that knows how to deal with Bea when she's sad. I couldn't talk to her cause I was with Theo. 


Actually. Now thinking of last night, I AM such a shitty friend. How can I be so ignorant and blind, just focusing on Theo and not my BEST friend. I need to call her ASAP. 


I'm gonna make a mental reminder to see her later. But from now, I need to focus on Theo. I lost my virginity to him!! I at least need to see if this can go anywhere. He deserves a chance. 


Grace walks downstairs while Josh is cooking breakfast. And she just looks... absolutely beautiful

I mean. She's absolutely stunning, don't get me wrong. But I want this to be a one time thing. I don't really do relationships. It doesn't end well for me. I always forget how much fucking attention I need to give to them, and then they end up getting mad at ME. Like Jesus how much attention does one person need?! 


That's why I only have hook ups. I mean ,yeah I had sex with her last night. But I've done that with a lot of people. Like.... Trust me. I have. 


I hope she knows this is a one time thing, she does look like the kind of girl that understands that. So fingers crossed. But I might aswell have fun this week, while we don't have school. 


"Wanna go for another round?" I whisper in her ear. She giggles gently and I chase her up the stairs. 


And there I am. Alone with my thoughts. I can't do this, I need to distract myself. I text Hugo "Hey bro, party at mine tonight. Tell a friend to tell a friend" 


Word gets around fast with Hugo. So there you go. A distraction, and hopefully an eventful one if Bea comes. Cause I wanna know why the fuck she's with Ryan. It's probably just for today. But when she comes tonight she'll see what she's missing out on.
