Two potential lovers, who never realised how much they needed each other until they met.

Bea, a black girl in a predominantly white school, believes that no one will love her and treat her as she should be treated because of the colour of her skin. However, her previous relationship with a black boy, Ryan, enlightens her and makes her realise that she can have a positive relationship with any boy no matter their skin colour.

When she meets Josh, she finds love, a love that she has never felt before. Someone that loves her for all of her imperfections and perfections.

But will it end well?

It’s not always Black and White

Sooner or later, we arrive at the restaurant. 


Awww, the one thing Ryan has and always will be able to do is make me feel special. He always knows when to give the right compliments and at the right time. 


"Thank you babe, you look gorgeous too." 


Just as our food arrives, I look over to Ryan. 


Ryan is on one knee. I don't think I'm ready for this - now. 


Tears start flooding my eyes, everyone is staring and claapping- I mean I'm happy but- 


"Bea, you know I love you right?" I nod my head yes. He opens up the ring box - 


"I promise to always be faithful to you, I promise to always be there for you, no matter what. I promise to always love and cherish you. I promise to be true to you forever," He leans in closer and whispers, 


"I promise to put your sexual desires first," I giggle "Bea, this ring is a symbol of my love and commitment to you. I love you so much, I have loved you ever since you first came to our school. I loved you then, I love you now, and I promise to love you forever." 


Awwww, what the actual fuck. He is so sweet. 


"Yes! Yes, yes. I love you so much." I leaned closer and I kissed him. In that kiss was the sweetness of passion, a million loving thoughts condensed into a moment. 


On the drive home, I quickly post a picture of me with my ring. 


Aww I love it! I text Stephanie, and ask how her night's going. 


Steph- It's good. Ryan told us the surprise went well 


Steph- Girl. The whole world saw that insta post, we saw. 


Steph- he didd. it was so good, and he's good at taking pics. Look. 


Steph-ikr, anwyays I was thinking we should go on a triple date. Me, you, Grace and the boys. What do u think?? 


Bea- that sounds good, I'll let Grace know.

Bea- it was soo goodd. How r u and Theo? Did u do anything last night 


Grace- Well... we did do stuff. And we went out to dinner 


Grace- About to go to Josh's, cause Theo wants to go 


Bea- no, dw guys I j want to spend the night w the loml 


"I know, I know. But are we going in or..." 


"Yeahh," He leans in closer, "it's always going to be 'we'"
