Upset About The Truth

Joshy lay on his bed with his face down, sobbing softly. He could feel the wetness of the pillow but did not care at all. He continued to lament about the news that his parents had told him. Until now, he could not believe that it was true. How could that ever be true? All his life Vincent was there and he had never known anyone who had been close to his mother... except... except for...

Suddenly, there was a loud knock on his bedroom door that brought him to his senses. The loud banging sounded very urgent and so difficult to ignore.

"Go away, I don't want to talk to any of you! Leave me alone!"

Joshy shouted at the door, still full of anger. He then sat up and crossed his legs. He started wiping the tears from his eyes.

The banging at the door stopped.

"Oh, come on Joshy, even me?"

Dane's voice could be heard from the other side of the door. He stopped knocking, waiting for Joshy to open up the door for him.

"Dane? Is that you?"
