When Doreen entered the mansion, Doreen had this sudden feeling of sentimentality. She had not visited their mansion ever since she gave birth. She had never gotten over the feeling that she did not belong there anymore.

Henry, their very old, but loyal Butler greeted Doreen upon opening the oak entrance door of the Smith's mansion.

Doreen replied, giving the old butler a gentle embrace.

Doreen added in a whisper. She was surprised by her affectionate action towards Henry, which the old man shared because he stood frozen in front of Doreen, not sure if he should reciprocate the embrace.
