"Daniel's Home"

As I walked toward the gate, a familiar sense of comfort and nostalgia washed over me. I had noticed a new message notification on Vibly a while ago, so I logged in. I couldn't help but feel a warm smile form on my face as I checked my Vibly messages. There were new messages from Siri, and I couldn't help but think about the intriguing connection I was building with her.

"Good afternoon to you!"

"Lmao"

"Hope your day is going well"

I really had a lovely time today, my thoughts briefly shifted to Precious. I had experienced a wonderful time with her, filled with romantic moments, but I wasn't ready for anything serious. I hoped that Precious understood this, and that our connection could remain professional.

There's nothing quite like the beauty of two souls connecting on a deeper level, and Precious and I had that special connection.

I just hoped that Precious would maintain our connection professionally and wouldn't let emotions get in the way.

I truly cherished the romantic moments we shared, but now, I wasn't prepared for anything more serious.

I responded with a sense of contentment:

"Yes, it is, thanks."

"I hope you had a great day as well."

I found myself once again perusing Siri's profile, an action I'd performed countless times since she began following me. Her captivating pictures had piqued my curiosity, i found her body type quite appealing, and her interests and posts on Vibly seemed to align with mine.

Admittedly, she wasn't as voluptuous as precious neither was she as curvaceous, but her slender curves were still alluring, probably because I always had a thing for slender pettiness in girls, her elegant figure held its own unique enchantment. I had always held a soft spot for the delicate grace of slender individuals.

Additionally, the fact that Siri was Asian also piqued my curiosity.

With curiosity driving me, I returned to our direct messages. I couldn't help but feel my previous response might have come across as somewhat lackluster, which left me pondering whether she'd still be interested in continuing our conversation. Like clockwork, as if to confirm my reservations...

"(Heart emoji)"

Her heart emoji seemed like an invitation to keep the conversation going, as i waited a bit to see if she would add another reply I had already unknowingly cross the gates into the compound,

"Daniel!!!" My musings were interrupted by the excited voice of my younger sister, Favour. Her sharp voice cut through the air as she spotted me from her room window perpendicular to the gate, she must have heard the sound of the gate opening and had investigated.

She just celebrated her 20th birthday four months ago in may, and was the only daughter of my parents born into a family of 6 boys, she was the only girl among six sons in our family.

She sped out of the house, the sound of her light footsteps fluttering through different parts of the house as she ran all the way downstairs, "Daniel's home!!" I heard her yell out excitedly, the surprise of seeing me and the announcement of my arrival evident in her demeanor.

Her speed didn't change as she made her way out through the front door, knowing she was running in to give me her legendary jumping hug, it was obvious she had missed me.

"Daniel!!!" Favour's voice cut through the air as she sprinted towards me with open arms, ready to deliver her signature jumping hug. I knew what she was about to do, and I tried to evade her playful attack.

Favour!" I replied, my smile conveying my delight at being reunited with family. Just as she prepared to execute her renowned jumping hug, I deftly sidestepped her like a skilled football player evading an oncoming attack. But Favour was quick and agile, before I could fully regain my balance, she swiftly redirected herself towards me, as if she had already anticipated my move. She adjusted her trajectory mid-air and still managed to wrap her arms around my neck in a hug, her momentum causing a slight stagger as I caught her.

The result was a tremendous neck twisting jump hug, a collision that made my internal organs quiver. With utmost focus, I held her to ensure that neither of us ended up crashing to the ground.

Her well-executed maneuver took me by surprise, revealing the improved reflexes she had developed since our last meeting. Growing up amidst a brood of boys had evidently honed her skills.

"Alright, alright, you got me," I chuckled heartily as I lowered her to the ground. "How are you doing?"

Fine fine, Welcome home," Favour said breathlessly after the energetic hug.

"Thanks," I replied, chuckling. "I've missed you all too."

Favour's eyes sparkled with delight as she looked up at me. "We've been waiting for you. You don't visit us often enough."

I ruffled her hair playfully. "I know, I know. But I'm here now."

Favour's sullen pout turned into a radiant smile as we walked hand in hand towards the front door of the house. She updated me on the activities of my younger twin brothers, her immediate younger ones and the last born(s), Tim and Theo.

In the background, Timothy and Theophilus could be heard, locked in a spirited game of FIFA, their voices resonating with the excitement of competition in the living room, engrossed in a gaming session.

As we stepped into the living room, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the bonds of family that wrapped around me. The room was filled with the sound of laughter and banter as Tim and Theo enthusiastically played their game. It was a reminder of the cherished moments we shared, moments that I had missed.

My presence sparked a new round of excitement as my brothers cheered and rushed to greet me. In that very moment, I realized that coming home was like coming back to myself. The familiar faces, the joyous laughter, and the warmth of family wrapped around me, assuring me that I was exactly where I needed to be.
