A Tragedy

The next day Bell and Jupiter wake up very late. Took a bath. Decided to go meet Goddess Hestia. They were thinking of a way to get inside the castle. Then they found Lena. She recognized them. She enquired what they were doing in their kingdom. 

 Bell told her that there were so many monsters on their way back, so they decided to flee and take shelter here. Lena didn't doubted that. Then he took advantage of her. She was a level 4 swordswomen. Bell already had a strength of a level 4 (without the blessing of a God).

He charmed her. He learned from her, why Hestia Familia and Hermes Familia was summoned here. He made her believe that he is a former member of Hestia Familia. He commanded her to take him to Hestia. Bell told Jupiter to stay behind as it was risky. She agreed. She asked him to return quickly once he got her blessing.

They reached the castle gate. She introduced him as her trusted friend outside the Familia. She told the guards that he is from Orario to help them fight Antares . So she wanted to introduce him to her Goddess for the her approval. 

The Guards allowed them to enter as it was Lena. Bell had to write down his name and address before he enter the castle. He easily went through all those procedures. Then Bell was totally amused by the design of the castle. 

Lena took him to the guest room. Bell was super nervous and scared at the same time. He was thinking how they were going to react when they see him. Lena and Bell waited in the guest room. Then a maid came and informed her that the Gods and their Familia members were in a meeting.

She asked the maid to convey the message to them that Bell Cranel is here to meet them. The maid went to the meeting room. She informed them about Bell's arrival. Bell got really anxious. He was fantasying about how they are going to react to him. He was expecting them to rush to his side, the moment they know about him.

But nothing like that happened. He was asked to come to the meeting room. Bell entered the room. There, all of them were present, Hestia, Hermes, Artemis and their children. Bell thought they are about to jump upon him, in excitement. But they room was extremely silent. Bell was confused. 

Hestia with a smile on her face. " I see, you are still around, Bell Cranel."

Bell with a confused face " Eee..Yeah.."

Hermes " Good to see you again, young man."

Artemis " So you are Bell Cranel. Well it's nice to meet you. I think its the first time we meet. Let me introduce myself. My self Artemis, the Goddess in charge of this land. I kindly welcome you to my kingdom. "

Bell " Thank you.."

Hedin, Ryu and others were abnormally silent. They were not even looking at him.

Hestia " So Bell Cranel, what can I do for you?"

Bell paused for some time. " I would like to rejoin the Familia. "

Hestia paused and remained calm. "I am extremely sorry, Mr Bell Cranel, we are not recruiting demons into our Familia. It's not just mine opinion, it's everyone's opinion. "

Bell " Everyone's opinion???"

Hermes " Ahmm.. You see , Bell-kun, so many things happened while you were gone. And we Gods can't just sit and watch these violence. So we Gods decided not to give our blessings to demons. I hope you understand what we are trying to convey."

Bell " Violence.... What exactly do you mean by that ? I didn't do any violence."

Artemis " It's not you, put your community. I mean the demons. They are just going on killing innocents, robing them, asserting women and children and many more. More than 1 million people are suffering as we speak."

Bell complained" But I am different, I may have hurt some bad people. But I avoided killing.... "

Hestia "I am sorry, Bell, good or bad, it doesn't change the fact that you are a demon. So..."

A moment of silence.

Finally Hedin " Mr Bell Cranel, we are in the middle of a meeting now, So if you don't mind."

Bell was shocked. He pathetically looked at other Familia members. None of them was looking at him. Ryu's silence was the one that hurt him the most. He didn't say another word. He left that meeting room. Bell didn't cry at all. But felt really sad. 

He didn't talk to anyone. He simply walked out of the castle. Just then a call from behind. Bell looked back with hope. But it was just a maid. She was holding on a black sword with her. She approached him and gave him that sword.

Maid " Miss Ryu-san asked me to give you this." 

Bell didn't say anything. He recognized that sword. He grabbed it's handle. Then the eyes of the skeleton figure shined bright red. Bell grabbed his sword tightly and walked away. His only last hope is Jupiter. 

Bell didn't know how to explain things to his partner. His sat on a bench in the roadside. His mind full of worries. His only choice is to form a contract with Jupiter. But still wanted to be part of his Familia. He sat there all along till the evening. Bell cried silently.

The sun was about to set. He decided to go back to Jupiter. He reached the place where he was supposed to stay. The door wasn't locked. Bell opened that door. The room was completely dark. He called for Jupiter. She didn't respond. He turned on the light. He couldn't find her anywhere. Bell wondered where she has gone. 

Bell found a letter on the table. Bell opened that letter. 

"COME AND SAVE HER IF YOU CAN, BELL CRANEL."

Bell was shocked. He began to panic. He thought that this must be some kind of joke or something. He searched for her in bathroom and all, but she was not there. He went out to search for her. He searched for her in the street shops. He jumped from one building to another in order to get a clear view. 

He tried to focus his sense, but couldn't reach her at all. He began to ask random people in the street whether they have seen a white haired girl near by. He ran from place to place hoping her to find her. Despair fall upon Bell. His heart began to tell him that something bad is going to happen. But he strongly pushed away that thoughts. 

............

He ran and ran. He even shouted her name along the street. People called him crazy. It become very hard to breathe. He was been running for hours now. His legs were about to gave up. Then he took his bat form to fly high and try to find her. There was no use. 

It was already mid night. The moon was in the middle of the sky. His wings were about to gave up. Then suddenly he sensed a feeble presence of Jupiter. Hope returned to his eyes. He changed back to his human form. He run towards that direction.

He then sadly realizes that the fact that her presence is getting feeble. Bell reached in front of a cemetery. That place was completely silent. It was completely dark. His heart was beating very fast. Fear came to his mind. He shouted her name.

Then he suddenly discovered a wagon with horses still tied to it. Bell approached that wagon. Smell of blood was floating in the air. Bell recognized that smell. Bell with shaking hands opened the door of the wagon. 

What he saw there was terrifying. 

Jupiter was lying on the floor of the wagon covered in blood. There were bite marks all over her body. Blood still stripping from those wounds. She has been completely naked. She was been brutely raped. Her hair colored red and was a mess. Her eyes already dead. Her lips been bitten. Her clothes being torn into pieces. Her cheeks and body shrunken like that of a old woman. Blood tipping from her private parts. A lot of empty paralyzing and love portion scattered all over the floor. 

Jupiter with her last bit of her strength " B-Bell."

Bell's eye were that of a dead man. Not a sound came out of his mouth. His whole body shaking. His legs gave up. He fell to his knees. He is having a trauma. He reached his hands towards her. The moment he touched her face, her body disintegrated into many particles of light. 

Before she completely disappears " I- I am sorry, Bell."

Tears fell down Bell's eyes. His eyes wide open filled with despair. 

Bell screamed with the top of his voice " JUPITERRRR......."
