~The Devil's Game~

Lori felt the weight settle over her as she made her way to the other side of town. The Devil had provided her with transport, but the journey was a long and arduous one, Lori could not shake off the feeling that she was being watched.

She arrived at the address given to her, a small, unassuming house on a quiet street. Lori approached the house taking a deep breath before knocking on the door.

As the door opened, Lori was greeted by a middle-aged man, who frowned at her suspiciously. "Can I help you?" the man asked, his voice rough and uninviting.

Lori struggled to keep her calm, her mouth dry as she tried to form the words. "I'm here to see Gregory." she finally managed to say, her voice shaking.

The man's expression softened slightly, and he motioned Lori to enter. "Gregory's in the back." He said, his voice softer now.

"What's going on?" Gregory asked, his eyes wide with confusion.

Lori felt the weight of what she was about to do settle over them even more. She knew she had to claim Gregory's life, but the thought of taking another person's life made her stomach churn.

The man cleared his throat again, Lori knew it was now or never. She drew the knife that had been given, aiming for Gregory's throat.

But before she could strike, she felt a hand grab her arm, pulling her back and disarming her. "What do you think you're doing?" A voice hissed in her ear.

Lori looked up and found none other than the Devil himself, standing in front of her with a look of rage on his face. "You thought you could betray me?" The Devil snarled, his eyes blazing with fury.

Lori tried to speak but the words caught in her throat as the Devil's grip tightened on her arm. "You are mine," the Devil hissed. "And I will not tolerate disobedience from you."
