Boyfriend

Blaze walked up to the bar.

A handsome bartender, whose name tag said 'Shane'; saw Blaze approaching and smiled towards him.

"Welcome. I have never seen you before, is it your first time here?"

"Ah..yeah." Blaze awkwardly replied.

"Well, I hope you have a good time. What would you like to order?"

Just as Blaze was about to order, a beautiful and tall women with light blond hair and and tanned skin who was holding a drink, stood up beside him and asked with a teasing tone, "Are you alone sweetheart~ ? Can I buy you a drink?"

Blaze glanced at her and quickly rejected.

"I would have to reject your offer, I came here with someone."

She pouted. "Aw.. that's too bad. But, we can at least exchange numbers; you know. If you wanna have some fun later~"

She winked at him and raised a hand to place it on Blaze's lower back, just as Blaze was about to turn around to stop her hand, her hand stopped in mid-air.

Blaze turned around and saw Frore holding her wrist.

"...He has already declined."

Frore said coldly.

"Oh my, cutie you had a boyfriend? Why didn't you say so sooner?"

Frore let go of her hand and slightly turned his head down. He was feeling embarrased when he was called Blaze's boyfriend and his face turned red, but he didn't dislike it, on the contrary he liked it so much that he felt like he would get addicted to it. Suddenly, he understood why he didn't like being referred to as Blaze's little brother and why he would always feel irritated whenever someone got close to Blaze.

Blaze on the other hand, felt like he was struck by thunder.

{...huh? What? Boyfriend?}

He couldn't understand how that lady reached that conclusion, but it didn't matter. His brain had stopped working, it felt like he had a glitch. He couldn't understand what had just transpired.

Both of them went silent, but that lady didn't notice this and continued saying what she wanted.

"Your boyfriend's cute too~ I hope I didn't ruin your night. You two make a nice pair."

She waved a goodbye at them, and Blaze blankly waved back.

She giggled and went away happily chatting with her friends.

Blaze froze for about 2 minutes, he then looked at Frore whose head was a little down, his expression, not visible. So, Blaze assumed that Frore was shocked and hated that he was suddenly declared to be his boyfriend. He felt a little tug at his heart and he felt bitter. But, he didn't think much about it and said in a low voice, "You don't have to mind what that women said."

Frore jerked his head up to look at Blaze but before he could say anything to refute Blaze's statement, Blaze had already turned towards the bartender once again.

"I would like to get a private room on 4th floor."

"Of course, sir. Brett will show you to your room. He will also take your order in the room."

Shane waved towards the waiter named Brett and gave him a few instructions.

----

In the room.

There were large floor to ceiling windows in the large room, it was decorated with pink flowers and there was a set of two designer white chairs with a round table, in the middle of the room.

Previously, whenever Blaze would go to a restaurant, it would always be with his parents. He had to watch how he was acting, was he smiling too much or too little, what was ordered was always according to his parents.

He would just eat in silence, lest he says something that triggers his mother to again start with that same comparing him with anybody in anything. Always downgrading him, usually the object of comparison were his cousins, whose faces he hadn't seen in years; but sometimes it was his friends too. He was just too tired of it all, and looking at his parents, going out to a restaurant with them or even speaking to them felt really burdensome. He has always thought about how nice it would be if he could go to places with a person in front of whom he didn't have to 'act' all the time. He could just be himself and not hide behind a mask. In front of a person, who wouldn't find fault at every little thing he did, he could speak freely and wouldn't have to hold himself back.

Thus, whenever he had free time he would always read his novels and imagine the characters being his friends and real family. Whenever, his parents would fight each other or blame him for something, or something bad happened, he would imagine 'his favourite people' being there for him. Standing beside him, smiling at him and telling him ' it's alright, don't mind it. It will get better eventually.'

He just wanted to enjoy a meal with Frore without feeling burdened with anything and just acted like the incident from before had never happened.

Blaze looked through the menu, though he didn't need to do it. He already knew, what he was going to get. He looked at Frore, who was looking at the menu with a confused expression.

He chuckled inwardly and asked with a smile, "Have you decided yet?"

Frore shook his head.

"Can't decide. You choose for me."

Blaze suddenly realised.

{Ah...right. He hasn't been to a restaurant yet. He won't know what most dishes are.}

Blaze nodded lightly and beckoned towards Brett.

"We will be getting two sets of no. 6 and no. 10."

Blaze ordered what Frore usually ordered in . The novel described it as a delicious meal. Now, he could really try it for himself.

Brett noted their orders and left after saying, that he will be back with their orders in a few minutes.

When Brett left, Blaze said to Frore in a low voice.

" I know you don't like crowded places much, so I got us a seperate room. It has a good view right?"

Frore nodded while looking outside.

They could see the beautiful view of the city sparkling with lights, through the large window.

Blaze then explained to him with a serious expression.

" Frore this place is where people like us; who are afraid of getting identified in public due to various reasons; come to enjoy a peaceful night. But this place, is not only used for the purpose of entertainment. You can request for information here by paying an appropriate price. "

"It might be useful to you someday so memorize what I am about to say next. Ok?"

"...ok."

"When you require information, go to the bartender and say , 'the moon is beautiful tonight, but its color wasn't the one I wanted.' The bartender will then ask you, 'what was the color of the moon you wanted to see'. You have to tell him that you wanted to see a 'red moon'. Then the bartender will lead you to a room where you can place your request. Did you get it?"

"... understood."

Brett came back with their order at that time and they had a light conversation while enjoying a delicious meal.
