"What can I say? Women of lower status love hitting you with an arrow. Perhaps they could not stand your good looks," Lemiel said with a humorous tone.

"You are right. It must be my good looks." Evan grinned and stared into the distance with a thoughtful look. "It's almost that time of year again, hmm. How many days do you think Caius will disappear this time?"

Lemiel knew what his brother meant. He answered with nonchalance, "It doesn't interest me, so I don't want to guess. But maybe it would do you good to go with him. We don't want our dear brother drinking away his sorrows alone, do we?"

Evan smirked and Lemiel walked away without another word.

In Davi's room, the boy was resting on a chair while having snacks. Once the servant who had delivered the snacks left, Sienna joined him at the table. They were beside the window, and the bright light from outside shone on both their faces.
