Payu had ordered Glory's car be brought around so that she wouldn't have to make the 5-minute walk back to the courtyard.
After leaving the walkway, Glory's driver opened her door and she stepped into her car.
“I hope Hiran is right,” Payu muttered under his breath.
Uncle, who was standing just behind him, leveled up with him and patted his back. “Glory has always been levelheaded. She is a good sister and a hard worker. I believe in her.”
“Phi, …" Payu was startled. He had no idea Uncle was trailing behind him all this while. His mind was on King, Glory, and Hiran's plans.
“I had no idea it was that bad.” Uncle pointed out warily. “How often does he go through that?”
“He is always fine as long as nobody touches him. If he keeps meeting with Glory, he will get used to her and the reaction won't be that bad again. It happened quite often when I and the others started following him. But the more we hung around him, the less he reacted to our touch.”
