"Yes, Phi. We are friends." He lowered his eyes and nodded.

"Good." King's eyes brightened in happiness and he covered the remaining short distance between them, alarming Anurak.

"What are you doing?" Anurak exclaimed silently as he tried to merge with the wall. King's movement was too sudden and he was too close. Fear started to spread across Anurak's face again. But this time, he didn't look away as he was too caught up in the moment.

"I don't bite, you know. Why are you scared?" King asked. He was practically in Anurak's face and gazing down at him with soft eyes.
