They didn't go back to Thailand.
Instead, King had them transferred to a private island in the Caribbeans, using his father's private jet. This was where he was planning to convince Anurak to visit for their holiday.
On the journey there, Anurak was sleep-induced because he wouldn't stop crying. It was a 46-hour journey with a stopover. And throughout, King and Anurak stayed in his private cabin, cuddled up in bed. One was sleeping, while the other just couldn't let go. The few days of not knowing the boy's whereabouts had left King distraught and on edge. The only way to feel reassured that the boy was still with him was to hold on to him, feeling his touch and warmth.
During the stopover, King had a long talk with Denton, his therapist. He wanted Denton to come over to help him with Anurak, but when Denton heard what King wanted done, he vehemently refused.
“It's against my principles and criminal." He said.
