When Anurak was young, his father became a toyboy for a gang leader and even abandoned his family for another woman.

“You are not allowed to lie to me. When I ask you a question, you will not hesitate to answer, and you will tell me the truth no matter what it is. Is that clear?” King glowered. 


"Chai, Phi,” Anurak replied with a shaky voice. 


“Let's try again. What were you thinking about?" 


Unable to move his head, Anurak could only lower his lashes. 


Hearing this, King’s heart trembled. His hard face softened. His eyes cleared and a small grin started stretching his lips. He gathered the boy in a bear hug and placed his chin on Anurak's shoulder. He was immensely satisfied with what he heard. Forcing his heartbeats to slow down, he kissed Anurak on the head. 


“I don't just like you, Angel," King whispered into his eyes. “I love you. I love you so much. You are everything to me."
