THE FEAR

His heart aches with horror of loss,

The feel of losing her, his love, the cost,

Of living in a world without her embrace,

Where loneliness will be his only space.

His mind is haunted by the thought,

Of losing her, his heart's dear sought,

The pain that it'll bring, unbearable to hear,

The thought of life without her, so hard to bear.

The thought of being alone,

With her absence, the pain will hone,

The memories of her, so vivid and bright,

Will fade away in the darkness of the night.

The fear of losing her, oh my dear!

Is more than he can ever bear,

The idea of living without his love,

Is a pain that his heart can never shove.

We pray to God, to keep them together,

And protect them from all harm and fear.
