Prince Ivive leaned in, his breath warm against Teri's ear, and whispered,"Because you can see," he smiled.
Teri sighed, gently pushing Prince Ivive's face away from his ear."I thought you had something important to say," he replied, attempting to walk away. But Prince Ivive's smirk halted him; the prince drew him back by the fabric of his clothing.
"How dare you!", Teri's voice rose, anger flaring.
Prince Ivive's lips curved into a knowing smile as he looked down at Teri.Being taller, he held the advantage."Do you want to know when I discovered your secret?" ,He released his grip on Teri's clothes.
Teri turned to face him.
Prince Ivive's eyes bore into Teri's. "When you took Mizak out to unsheathe the king's sword, Selina was here the entire time. Yet you described what you saw without her presence."His gaze intensified.
"You look like someone who can see—just as you're looking at me now. I wonder why the others didn't notice."
