Chapter 6: Entering the house and spending the night on the farm.

After killing the few zombies that were still alive but weighed down by rocks, Nanxing carefully entered the house holding a steel fork.

She didn't dare to close the door because she could still run out if there were zombies inside.

Entering the door, there is the living room on the left and the kitchen on the right. There is a staircase in the middle that leads directly to the second floor.

Nan Xing first listened to see if there was any other movement in the house. After confirming that there was no movement, she entered the living room with a fork in hand to search.

Generally speaking, the medical kit and other items will be in the living room of the house.

She hope so. There are so many zombies in this house, so it probably hasn't been visited yet.

But she didn't have particularly high hopes. She suspected that the materials on this island were provided by the competition organizers.

The farm is not very dangerous and there shouldn't be a lot of supplies.

After carefully searching through the boxes and cabinets, Nanxing found nothing else except three agricultural magazines and four AA batteries.

She sighed, put her things away in the space, and limped into the kitchen.

In the open kitchen, Nanxing didn't look at the large refrigerator first. The power was out and the contents inside were probably rotten.

After rummaging through boxes and cabinets again, Nan Xing's nerves were always tense, for fear that a zombie would suddenly pounce on her from behind.

What she worried about did not happen, and Nanxing was very lucky to find a 500g piece of wheel cheese, three 500ml bottles of water and a 400g bottle of canned chickpeas in a cabinet.

Nan Xing immediately opened a bottle of water and drank half of it. She was really thirsty.

After eating the remaining half of the compressed biscuit with water, Nan Xing felt like she was alive while sitting on the chair in the kitchen.

It was getting dark, so she had to pause her search and seize the time to make sure the entire house was safe.

She carried a steel fork and tied the two pillows on the sofa to her chest and back with ropes. In case there were any remaining zombies, these two pillows could also slow down the attack and collision force.

She fearfully searched the corners of all the cabinets in the room. Every time she opened the open door or cabinet, she was always afraid that zombies would rush out.

However, this kind of plot in the movie did not happen to her, so Nan Xing breathed a sigh of relief.

Now there was only one basement and attic left in the house that had not been searched. She did not dare to go there. She would wait until dawn.

Those zombies should be the only ones in the farm.

When she returned to the living room, it was almost dark.

Nan Xing fumbled and closed the door of the house, turned on the lighter and went into the kitchen to get a metal bucket.

She used a folding knife to dismantle the two wooden boxes in the space. She had considered the problem of darkness before and specially installed some straw and wooden boxes.

  Fortunately she found a lighter.

Throw the wood into an iron bucket, and then use hay to slowly ignite the wood.

When the firelight came out, Nanxing felt a sense of security.

She stared at the fire in trance, with a confused expression and deep fear.

Today was only the first day, would she have to spend the rest of the day like this?

She was in danger anytime and anywhere, worrying about food, water and disease. It wasn't until a wolf howl in the forest woke Nan Xing up that she suddenly came back to her senses. She quickly wrapped the handle of the iron bucket with a cloth and lifted it into the front door.

There was no passage to the attic in this room, and it looked quite tidy overall. There were pillows and quilts, and she felt very good.

There were still several pieces of young men's clothes hanging in the closet in the room, so Nan Xing picked out the ones that fit and changed into them for the time being.

After closing the heavy curtains and lighting up the fire, Nan Xing dragged her sick feet and searched the room.

Unexpectedly, she found a home version of a medical kit under the bed in this room!

She didn't even bother to search other places. She sat beside the bed and opened the medical box ecstatically.

There are only five items in the eighteen-inch medical kit.

Unwrapped medical cotton swabs, a half-opened excess bottle of hydrogen peroxide, a pack of masks, half a roll of bandages and a first aid manual at the bottom.

Nan Xing was so happy that she almost cried. With these things, she finally didn't have to worry about the wound getting worse tomorrow.

She quickly opened the simple bandage, and the bleeding had been controlled. Nan Xing took off the condom, and after thinking about it, she didn't want to throw it away, so she put it into the space again. Maybe it would be useful someday, and it wouldn't take up any space anyway. .

According to the contents of the first aid manual, Nanxing carefully cleaned the wound again with hydrogen peroxide, wrapped it with a bandage, and tied a smooth knot.

After putting the remaining medical supplies and the medical box into the space, Nanxing relaxed completely, and the fatigue hit her like sea water.

She couldn't help but yawn, she was sore and tired, and she urgently needed to rest.

However, she still endured her sleepiness and put out the fire first, opened a crack in the window, and took another look at the room door blocked by the cabinet, and then fell asleep peacefully.

The next day Nan Xing woke up safely. She first raised her sore arm and touched her forehead. The temperature was normal and she had no fever.

  Very good.

She had lost so much blood that she was worried that it would cause a high fever.

She lowered her head and glanced at the time on her watch. She actually slept until eleven o'clock noon. Oh my god.

Moreover, after yesterday's strenuous exercise, Nanxing felt unbearable pain all over her body, and her hands and feet were almost no longer her own.

However, she still have to get up. She have to search the entire house today.

Nan Xing sat on the bed and checked the injured right leg. The wound had not worsened. After disinfecting it, she re-bandaged it with the remaining gauze.

After enduring the pain, she spent ten minutes doing simple stretching exercises with her upper body and uninjured left foot, and then Nanxing used a steel fork to get out of bed.

Opening the curtains a little, Nan Xing felt a chill in her heart when she saw the scene outside.

One night passed, and there were a few more zombies in the farm, wandering around the farm.

Are these zombies refreshed every day?

She had confirmed during the day that there were no gaps in the fence.

She also saw four or five zombies gathered together as if they were eating something.

Is it a human or an animal?

If it's a human, is it an aborigine here or a player like her.

Did he bring the zombies in?

Nan Xing felt anxious. Did someone die on the first day?

How should she deal with so many zombies in her current physical condition?

When the injury heals tomorrow, will there be more zombies on the farm?

She had endless questions in her heart that she had no answers to.

Nan Xing slowly lowered the curtains and sat on the bedside in a daze for a while before slowly getting up.

It's useless to think too much. The house is still safe. Yesterday when she searched the house, she closed the doors and windows tightly and blocked them with things, leaving only the front door open for entry and exit.

There is a wall of boxes in front of the gate, so zombies can't get through for the time being.

It's better to search the house first to see if anything is available.
