"It's either I'm different and I have an amazing guard or I'm an asshole and I have workers that I can't call friends. I need friends like you and Hank and those around me," he folded his arms to look around. "Trust me, being alone doesn't pay anyone."
"My former bosses would beg to differ," she laughed. "They don't care about what anyone thinks of them. So long as they have us licking their shoes and bowing before them, that is all we are there for."
"It makes no sense to me."
He looked at his watch and got out his phone to call Carl.
"I'll be in the house," Ruth said before leaving him alone.
Carl picked up with an excited tone.
"Good morning sir," he laughed. "I have seen pictures of the suit and I can say that you will be the most eligible bachelor in that party."
"Why can't I talk to him?" Greg asked with a straightforward voice.
