Janet's long term boyfriend dumped her for someone else because she was apparently impotent, rendering Janet heartbroken even more because his wedding was taking place the very next day. Hurt, Janet visited a club, got drunk, only to wake up naked, next to a hot, dark stranger the next morning.

He figured Janet was another dumb, brainless human and couldn’t wait to be rid of her, but that was until he realized that she was the key he had been searching for, for centuries.
Hence why he couldn’t ever, ever let her go. Since the moment she asked him to get married to her, she had unknowingly given herself to him, because she had no idea that once you make a deal with a devil, there’s no backing out from it.

"You look like you were just involved in an accident," the local sighed.

"That is because I was… can you tell me what happened so I will know how to fix it?" Alastor said with an impatient tone. He was tired of dealing with the man before him.

"Not everything can be fixed," laughed the local. "Your friend here was trespassing on government property and he is going to pay for it."

"How about I pay for it?" Alastor put his hand into his pocket before shaking the man with a few bills in his hand.

The man felt it and smiled. He leaned back in his chair with ease.

"You all can go," the man said, smiling while letting his crooked teeth show. "I only wanted to know if the car was yours, that is all."

Alastor nodded before walking off with Tim.

"Did you just bribe them?" Tim asked in shock.
