Chapter 463: Yu'er

The twelfth lunar month rolled around swiftly. On the sixth day, in the late afternoon, outside a wild wind was howling, and the snow was swirling, yet the interior of the room on the east upper side was warm like spring, with laughter echoing.

Yu and Ming stood by the railing of their crib, mumbling a few words they knew, occasionally looking at their mother and sister with silly smiles on their faces. When they opened their mouths wide, a trail of drool would flow from the corner of their mouths.

In fear that the two little brothers might bump into Chen Afu, a small crib with a railing was specially placed in the eastern room for them to play in.

Chu Hanyan sat outside the small bed, teasing her brothers. Seeing their drool dribble down, she would use a cloth to wipe it up for them. When they started wrestling, she would admonish them gently and separate them.

The girl was certainly a rare, exceptional older sister.
