June never was good at stat distribution or even understanding them in games so from now until she understands it, her stance on her stats will be that they're higher than the average level 2.
'There's still some things I need to figure out so I know the best way of surviving. I need to know stuff like has fast my mana regenerates, how I get stat and skills points and what other features of the system there are.'
June then pondered a bit before remembering something. 'I remember seeing a notification of some bracelet that I got but I don't see or feel it on me.' Thinking that there must be an inventory system of some sort, she tried it out.
"Inventory?" A flash of doubt crossed her mind before a wide futuristic hologram popped up. It had a grid of 4 x 4 boxes, one which held a bracelet, and at the top you could see the number of spaces occupied and the current number of gold a person has which, for June, is 10 as she got them along with the bracelet. Looking around some more, there was a mini 3d display of her standing. Smothering her curiosity for now, she focused on what she opened the inventory for- the bracelet.
Reaching my hand out I hesitantly pressed the box with the bracelet because what if I'm the only one that can see the hologram and my hand just passes through, making it look like I'm grabbing air and I look even more of an idiot to Tanya who may be awake and watching me.
A smaller rectangular screen came up asking if I wanted to equip the Bracelet of Strength. As my finger hovered over the 'Yes' button I paused as I saw a small check box to the bottom left asking if I don't want to receive this (the confirmation box) again. Shrugging to myself, I clicked on it first before doing the same to 'Yes'. Might as well get rid of it now before it becomes annoying in the future. As the dialog box went away, I saw that my inventory was now empty and the bracelet appeared on my left hand.
June's curiosity flared once again as she looked at the image of herself in the hologram. Clicking on the image, it opened up to an equipment page like ones in video games. Examining the screen, one could see the bracelet and knives in the equipped boxes and on the 3D image of June.
With the lull of peace in the room June started processing all that happened in just a few hours. Came to university, got blasted across the room, became a necromancer (whatever that really entails), smashed the head of a fantasy creature in and gave stitches to a random girl whose life she saved. All that happened from 8 am and its now just 9:45. With a sigh she got up and let one of the skeletons inside the room, just in case of something managing to get in. After ensuring that the room was secured, she allowed sleep to take over.
Feeling something shake her leg, June jostled awake to see the skeleton frantically pointing at the door. Ignoring its weird behaviour, as I don't think common skeletons should be able to do this, I looked up just in time to see a small axe chopping the door. Being on full alert now, I grabbed the hockey stick and commanded the skeleton, I'll name it Dave for now, to wake Tanya and get her into the bathroom. Verifying that the bathroom door was closed, I turned my attention to the door and positioned myself to have a clear view of what's coming inside. The way I am now reminds me of SWAT teams when they're doing a raid. Anyways the moment a taller than normal goblin stepped through the opening it created, I swung the hockey stick like I'm hitting a home run and it collided with its chest. Not only is this goblin taller than the others, but it looked tougher and stronger too. 'Maybe it's a variant like a goblin shaman or something.'
Taking the hit directly, the goblin only stumbled back a bit before turning to look at me. Having me as its target, it ran towards me with a visible intention to cleave me in half. I had already started moving as soon as my stick collided with the goblin and I was now standing in an open space with the bed to my right and dresser drawer to my left. As the goblin neared, it swung the axe towards me, which I blocked with the stick.
The force behind the axe broke the hockey stick a little so I chose to abandon it as it was no longer usable in this situation. The goblin had just barely recovered and was getting ready to attack once more. Reaching for the axe while going for one of my knives, I kicked the little shit in the chest sending it a few feet away. Taking a breather while the goblin got back up, I threw the axe to the side as it will just get in my way and crouched. From my position I managed to evade the goblin as it jumped at me and held it in a chokehold while stabbing it through its stomach. A searing pain was felt in my arm before I realized it dragged its claws from my shoulder down my bicep. Luckily it didn't seem to be deep but getting injured made me realize I needed to end this fight now.
Letting the goblin go I found myself backing up. My arm was stinging, black blood was all on my new clothes ugh and worse of all, I am hungry. Taking out a second knife, since I left the first in its stomach, I prepared myself to end this as quickly as possible. The goblin, filled with rage, dashed towards me while swinging its hands wildly. Dodging as best as I could, I still managed to receive some cuts which at one point only happened because it seemed to be the best way I could attack. I sacrificed the same arm it clawed, so I could find an opening to stab it in the eye. Screeching, the goblin backed away as blood squirted out its eye until it was just a steady little stream. Looking at me with unfiltered killing intent and rage, the goblin ran straight at me but sadly for it, it didn't reach far as I kicked the knife that was in its eye, sending the knife straight into the goblin's brain.
All movement ceased as I watched to goblin's good eye roll to the back of its head before the whole body fell to the floor. Following its lead, I sat on the floor to take a breath before searching for the first aid kit I used on Tanya earlier. Suddenly remembering them I sent out a message to Dave saying its ok to come out now while I was disinfecting and treating my wounds.
"Hey Tanya, are you ok?" I asked, looking at her while wrapping gauze around my arm. A small nod was all I got in return but I could see that she was staring at my wounds.
"It's just a couple small cuts and scrapes. No big deal." Reassuring her with a smile I continued, "It's no longer safe here so could you pack some useful things up please. I'll help you in a little while."
"There's a couple bags in the closet you can use." Once again, a nod was all I got in response but it's better than nothing, I guess. Finishing up first aid, I went for my knives that were still within the goblin, grimacing when I saw slimy black blood all over them. That problem was quickly solved as I wiped them off in the nearest clean cloth which just happened to be a sheet under the mattress that covered the bedframe. It's not like it'll be used again.
[Bing! 'Level 2 Elite goblin killed. 25 exp earned. Stat point +3 earned. Skill point +1 earned.]'
[Bing! 'Level one goblin killed(x6) 60 exp earned. Bing! 'Your undead summon has gone into eternal rest.']
'So it was an elite goblin huh, that's why it was so hard to kill. And both my goblins died, I guess they got the job of protecting us done.'

With no other skill to use it on, I assigned the skill point to 'Necroclasp' and divided the stat points between mana, dexterity and strength. The updated status is:

With that finished, I had a little tantrum as all I wanted to do was sleep and eat but instead I went and helped Tanya pack.
