Mrs. Johnson came out of the kitchen after washing her hands, and saw her beloved pet dog lying on Amanda Smith's lap, with a frown of displeasure forming on her face, "Baby! Come here!!"
The little pug, hearing Mrs. Johnson's voice, immediately stood up from Amanda's lap. Animals are very sensitive to human emotions, and it seemed to understand its owner's displeasure. It gave Amanda a reluctant glance before jumping off the couch and running toward Mrs. Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson bent down to pick up the pug, tidying up the fur that Amanda had ruffled, while insinuating, "Baby, remember, not everyone is worth cuddling with, understand? Some people may appear innocent, but who knows how dark their hearts are! Hogging a hole without pooping, what are they scheming!"
Amanda was already in a bad mood, and listening to Mrs. Johnson make veiled accusations, she retorted coldly, "I wonder whom you're calling a hole."
