Chapter 169: Falling Down_1

"So, I'm blind now?" Qian Cangyi said.

After focusing his hearing, the thumping sound grew louder.

"I should leave first. This is a residential area. If I can find someone to help me, or...even if they don't assist me, as long as there are people, it should help alleviate my stress." Qian Cangyi headed towards the anti-theft door. He hadn't forgotten what happened last night; to 'ghosts', it seemed there was no distinction between who to kill and who not to.

But he was knocked off his feet after barely taking a few steps. The sensation he felt from his body was identical to what he felt when he touched the unidentified object on the table earlier.

He pushed forcefully, but he couldn't move it. "What the hell is this thing?"

Thud, thud, thud!

The sound rang in his ears.

Feeling that something was seriously wrong, and after several hard punches, the pressure on Qian Cangyi lessened. He scrambled up and continued to run toward the anti-theft door.
