Chapter 52 – Hachi’s Persisting Distrust

Third person POV

Later on, class started, and Akira's homeroom started today's class with an introduction of a new "transfer" student into their school. That would be the student who took notes on Akira and Hachi. So, the homeroom teacher told the student to stand up and introduce himself to everyone in class. The student did so and responded back, "Hi, everyone, my name is Akamine Isao. Nice to meet you all. I am 17 years old, and I am from this village. I loved art, music, and handicrafts. Thank you for letting me have this opportunity to be in this school."

He then bowed deeply as a greeting to everyone in class, before sitting down on his seat.

"Okay, thanks for your introduction, Akamine-san," replied the homeroom teacher back to Isao. "You are welcome to this school."

Then to everyone in class. "Alright, everyone, get your Japanese history textbooks and turn to Chapter 11…"

Akira and the other students did so.

But unfortunately, Hachi felt some trauma on Isao because that boy was in his class up to the point of almost not being able to focus on his studies.

"Why that guy was in this school?!" his mind said in distress and irritation.

Upon seeing that, Akira was quite concerned for him, suspecting that Isao might have some sort of connection to Hachi that triggered his trauma or something negative about him by Hachi that caused him to despise or fear him.

So, he planned to look into that later at lunchtime.

Meanwhile, Hachi assumed that the school might go against him by having Isao in their school and hurt or threaten him in any way, perpetuating his distrust of most people other than Akira and his family and friends.
