It knew it was him. Even when I didn't look at him directly, I knew it was Harvey who came along with Jordan this morning. He looked horrible. His stubble was full on his jaw, something I never see because Harvey always kept his appearance clean and presentable. And boy, his eyes were looking so tired with dark eyes looming under them.

He must have been through bad days lately. And I felt a little bit of pity in the corner of my heart.

"Luna, Alpha is here," Kendra said while approaching me who was standing at the stairway.

"I know," I said.

"Why don't you see him for a moment?"

I went silent. I was thinking so hard about whether should I meet him and let every drop of tears fall again, or should I push him away because I wasn't ready to hear his explanation. After a good minutes of clashes inside my head, I chose the latter.

I knew it was hard. But it was harder to see his face now.
