My heart clenched in pain when I saw her. She looked as disheveled as me in every way. Her face was even paler and her eyes were swollen. I bet she must have been crying all night for these past three days. And it was all because of me.

Because of my uselessness as a man.

I held her hand tightly and was ready to explain everything. About that mess and the girl named Emily. This weight had made my heart feel heavy and I was too ready to let it go.

"Okay, I'll tell you everything."

Every piece of truth came out of my mouth. Flowing flawlessly like a stream of river in the spring. I told her everything without missing any part at all. From the first time, Emily entered my office, her stories about how Sean dumped her while she was pregnant, and how she suddenly acted strange and tried to kiss me. I knew she might think I was lying. But that was the truth. The ridiculous misunderstanding because of Emily.
