unyeilding will

Karan started his journey towards the mountain top. Although his body was tored from all the work he had done all day but his heart was filled with determination to reach the top of mountain and start learning from his master as soon as possible.

He slowly made his was through the dark trees and bushes and finally reached the beginning of mountain's slope and started trekking.

The mountain was tall and the slope was about 10 kms long. His speed was really fast when he started but after walking several hindered metres, due to walking alone without any companion his mind slowly started focusing on how tired his small and frail body was.

He worked whole day at the tavern and was already on his limits, but than the words of old man Vishwas came to his mind ' this training will be anything but easy '. These words worked as some motivators speech and he thought of his life after his parents passed away and he was left alone in this cruel world without anyone to call family. His days of sleeping on streets with empty stomach when he couldn't get a job. His two year's survival has made him realise how good it felt when someone took care of everything for you. He remembered his six years in town hall where although not loved but he was looked after. He realised the importance of someone's support in this cruel world.

And today when he felt like someone was going to look after him, he wanted his master to be proud of himself and not disappointed. With this new motivation he started dragging his tired body towards mountain top with renewed vigor.

He slowly climbed the slope and soon reached the mid-point than he started feeling the tiredness again in his whole body, his eyelids feeling heavy and every step was getting harder than the previous one. He still dragged his body that was on the verge of collapse with his sheer will and turned another curve.

Where he found the old man Vishwas standing leisurely with his back against the mountain wall.

It was as if he expected this point of climb to be karan's limit. But the old man didn't say anything about helping him and just glanced at Karan without saying anything with a blank face.

Karan seeing his master just standing there felt as if his master would be disappointed if he asked for help at just half point and without saying anything to his master he started walking with a fast face just like he was jogging.

Seeing Karan starting to jog all of a sudden old man Vishwas was impressed and thought ' I came pick his unconscious body and this kid is still trying to run. His willpower is stronger than I imagined.' According to his level of understanding of human body and the situation of karan's body this should be the point where his body looses voluntary control and fall unconscious but he went even further. This was even more so a proof of his unyeilding willpower.

After another last ditch effort of covering another kilometre or so, karan's body finally reached the limit of energy deficient and fell unconscious. Than old man Vishwas came and picked his unconscious body smiled from ear to ear really proud and took him to the top of mountain.
