"C-Cockroach?!" Laleen's voice rang out in alarm as she stared at Shane wide-eyed. She saw him nod with a hum.
"Get it out!" She screamed the next second, fear written all over her face.
"Don't scream" Shane responded while still moving his hands through her hair where Laleen thought he was benevolently trying to get the cockroach out.
"I-Is it gone?" She asked, her lashes fluttering in panic.
Shane smiled, twisting strands of her hair with his fingers.
"Not yet," he replied.
Laleen remained as still as possible for close to a minute but Shane's hand movements didn't come to a stop.
Just when she thought he had removed it and was about to raise her head, he suddenly blurted, making Laleen freeze.
"I think there's another one"
"What?!" Laleen screamed, shocked. Where did the bugs come from?
"Seems like your hair has been infested, Troublemaker," Shane continued in a sorry voice making Laleen's face blanch white.
