Mafia Crisis Part 24
[Faraday]
[A Powerful Being has spawned.]

Just then, a figure appeared from the shadows, moving with effortless grace. A girl, dressed in Russian winter clothing, her fur-lined coat and hat stark against the dim light of the dungeon, stepped forward. Without a word, she moved towards the mafia thugs.
With a series of swift, precise movements, she disarmed and incapacitated the thugs one by one.
Her attacks were fluid and powerful, leaving the thugs no chance to retaliate.
In mere moments, the entire group lay defeated at her feet.
Chang Nam Woo, Rosaria, and Zigzag stared in astonishment as the girl dusted off her coat and turned to face them. Her eyes were sharp and determined.
Chang Nam Woo says
"Who are you?"
The girl responds with.
"My name is Sasha."
"I've been tracking this group. I heard that the Mafia had a universe fragment."
"It's a powerful artifact, a piece of reality itself. If the Mafia has it, they're far more dangerous than you realize. They could use it to alter reality, gain unimaginable power, or worse."
Zigzag stepped forward, intrigued.
He then says
"How do you know all this?"
Sasha smiled faintly.
She then says
"I've been following the trail of these fragments for a long time. They're scarce and dangerous.
When I heard that the Mafia had acquired one, I knew I had to act. I didn't expect to find others here who were fighting against them."
"I will go now but I hope we will meet again soon."
"Goodbye."
As soon as she appeared, she vanished without a trace.
[Later….]
Lando looks at Gren for a moment and says
"Do you think they're alright in there?"
Gren says
"I'm sure they'll be fine."
"We have nothing to worry about."
"Except the Mafia."
"Now, I believe we should head back to town to see if they're trying to go around us."
Lopa and Lando both agree with this plan.
[Later….]
[Capital]
Lopa Lando and Gren walk around the city streets, attempting to find more mafia members.
They search in houses, stores, and even alleyways, attempting to find even a small trace of the Mafia.
[Later…]
An hour passes and Gren, Lando, and Lopa are currently sitting down at a restaurant about to call it a day.
They all get up and begin walking out.
However, Gren sees something in the corner of her eye.
She uses her linking capabilities to Link Lando's mind to the unknown person.
It seems to be a girl and she's getting taken away somewhere.
All 3 of them quickly rush to the scene.
[Later….]
Inside an Alleyway we can see several men taking a girl into a hidden passageway.
The trio make their way forward, attempting to stop them before it's too late.
Lopa uses his gun and manages to shoot one of them in the Leg
The mafia member begins to disappear as he has been shot by the Vigilantes gun.
The trio then continues, attempting to save the girl.
[Later….]
The trio then breaks into an abandoned sewage drain.
They step down and Lando says
"This place stinks!"
Lopa responds with
"Keep quiet Lando."
"We mustn't let them get away."
Lando says
"My bad."
"Gren, can you link us again?"
Gren responds with
"I'll try."
Gren then uses her linking powers and links Lando to the girl.
Lando can see inside of her mind and he can see where they are located.
Lando says
"They are in some type of holding cell."
"I don't know where."
"But it must be close if you can use your abilities."
Gren then says
"Then we go find that holding cell."
"Let's hurry."
The trio then rushes on in an attempt to find the cell.
[The cell.]
The girl is sitting in a small prison with iron bars keeping her from escaping.
She sits there cold, Hungary, and lonely as she's been captured.
One of the Mafia members looks at her and says
"You'll fetch a good price on the market."
"These wings."
"Rich nobles are gonna want to wear them."
The girl says quietly
"Shut up."
The mafia member hears this and attempts to attack her but another one grabs him and says
"Hey! No hurting merchandise!"
"We need her alive."
"Go guard the entrance."
The other Mafia member then leaves.
Aron then sits in a chair in front of the girl.
He looks at her cold expression.
He almost feels bad for the girl but now that he's tied to the mafia he can't disobey them.
He grabs some food from his bag and gives it to the girl.
The girl wants to bite him but she realizes that they probably won't poison her.
She takes the food and begins eating it.
She finds it to taste wonderful.
The girl still hates the mafia but she doesn't hate Aron all that much.
She wonders why he gave her food.
To keep her body looking healthy?
Was it out of Pity?
Or maybe, he doesn't enjoy what he's doing.
Before he can think about his own life— Lopa shoots him and he drops dead.
Lando then breaks open the metal cage with a kick and frees the girl.
The girl looks on as Aron disappears.
She decides to restore his fundamental existence.
Instead of disappearing he re-appears.
He says
"I should have died?"
The girl says
"You have shown some respect towards me."
"I shall reward you with another life."
Gren says
"Who exactly are you!"
The girl says
"I am a God."
"Goddess Terminus."
Terminus explains that she was captured due to her God-like nature and that they were going to sell her to the highest bidder.
She also explains that the mafia was unaware of her special powers.
She goes up to Aron and says
"You weren't the men who dragged me in here."
"You seem like you can change."
Lopa says
"I don't know who you are but this girl seems to trust you."
"I'll still have my gun aimed at your head if you try anything funny."
Aron says
"You don't need to aim for the head to kill."
Lopa then responds with
"It's just for a cool factor."
"Anyways, let's get out of here."
As soon as they prepare to leave, More mafia members swarm the area and they are forced to stay in the small prison.
Lopa quickly shoots at the Mafia, hitting some of them and killing them.
He tells the others that he'll hold them off.
Lando says
"But what if you get hurt!"
Lopa says
"It takes one shot anywhere on their body to kill."
"I need to get shot multiple times."
"One shot, one kill."
"Now leave!"
The others quickly leave as Lopa fights off the Mafia.
With a pistol in hand, he evades the Mafia's bullets and fires back with his gun.
He takes more mafia out before getting shot himself.
He falls to the ground while shooting even more Mafia.
He has been overrun but he won't let himself die here.
Lopa pulls out a STEM that he had prepared just in case he had gotten shot.
He fails to inject it in himself and it looks like he's about to die.
Lopa slowly loses his mind and blacks out.
[Deep.]
Lopa soon finds himself in a mystical place.
A girl with a black jacket, black boots, and black shorts walks up to him.
She introduces herself as Lori the God of stories.
She says that different people are watching the events unfold and these people are known as sponsors.
Lori says
"Blah, Blah, Blah they basically said you did such a good job at killing people they are giving you another chance."
"They said they kinda looked like a mix of John Wick and Doomslayer."
"So that's exactly what armor they told me to give you."
Lopa walks over and opens a big black box.
He then puts on a special ring.
A Tiny UBL comes out of it.
He introduced himself as Meowtrix.
Meowtrix is the UBL of The Kitten Artifact.
Lori says
"Lopa, to transform you must say–"
"Ahem!"
"Meowtrix Purrs out!"
Lopa says
"Do I have to say that?"
Lori says
"Yep!"
Lopa then says
"Meowtrix Purrs out!"
He then begins to transform.
He wears a black suit with a cat-like mask.
Lori then goes on to explain that the erasure of his gun has been transformed into a power of the artifact.
For close-range purposes, he can erase people with his claw cannon.
Lori says
"Now go on out there!"
"Fight!"
[Second Chance.]
Lopa then fights off the Mafia with his pistol and his claws.
The Mafia thought he was dead but he instead rose from the dead.
He uses his
He keeps one alive and questions them on one of their bases.
He gets this information and decides to turn this Mafia into the Police.
[Later….]
After they all get to safety, Lopa appears and tells them of his newfound abilities.
He then says he'll be able to protect them all better with help from his "sponsors."
They then decide that it would be best if they all formed a party together.
While they are walking, they encounter a boy sitting on top of some dice.
He quickly wakes up and rolls the dice.
He rolls 2 ones and is put back to sleep.
This continues until Lando notices and stops him.
This boy explains that he has the power of Gamble.
He is….
The Gambler.
Toast Unlucky.
Toast explains that his power is the ability to Gamble.
He can roll his dice to decide any action he wants.
The more powerful the action, the less chance of it happening.
The punishment for failure can range from being put to sleep or even death.
Toast makes sure to never do anything too risky as it could easily end up in his demise.
He tells them that he could help them find the Mafia with his powers
Lando says
"Alright."
"You can join us."
And with that, The Gambler has joined the party.
