Miran has always known hate, it's been his constant companion ever since he could remember. The constant harboured hate never left his heart, but rather grew and extended to his life, towards whose whom he was supposed to love, towards himself and towards the world around him. He'd only realise when it's too late that he morphed himself into the very thing he despised the most - his father.

Inevitable Heritage

Emin paced around in nervousness where he was supposed to meet Mavis, he apologised to her over the phone and asked her to meet him in town. He wanted her to know he was indeed sorry. Even if he can’t have her the way he wanted, he still wanted to maintain his friendship with her, he liked her and wanted her company despite his mistakes and regrets. 


“Emin?” He heard her voice. He turned around, “Mavie, I thought you wouldn’t come.” He said without thinking, his hand moving his mouth. 


Mavis moved to close their distance with a tight hug, holding him close. He was surprised by her embrace, she never hugged him before. For a moment, he hesitated, unsure of how to respond. But then, his arms wrapped around her, pulling her close. 


He pulled back after a short moment, “I’m sorry, I don’t have an explanation but I want you to believe that I really didn’t mean -” 


“It’s okay. I missed you.” She told him while looking into his eyes.
