"Young Master, what are you doing here?!" Alice exclaimed; her tone laced with surprise as she wondered why her master was in her room. She can't seem to remember anything leading her to also wonder how she ended up back in the room.
"The last thing I remember, I was leaving your room, Young Master," she said, walking over to grab a towel from her bathroom. Her voice was casual as though she was speaking to a younger brother. Shane wasn't particularly surprised or offended by her tone. Alice had always acted like his big sister to the previous him. They were like this with each other when no one else is around.
Just yesterday, the old Shane had confided in her about his massive crush on Celine, his magic theory teacher. The memory flashed through Shane's mind, and he couldn't help but sigh internally at how awkward it had been. Now, with his new perspective, he had to figure out how to clear the air. He certainly didn't want to maintain such a childish image.
"What happened to me, Shane? Why am I here? And why were you pouring water on my face? Were you trying something funny again?" Alice bombarded him with questions in one breath, her eyes narrowing suspiciously.
Shane let out an exasperated sigh, shaking his head. "Alice, when are you planning to outgrow this habit of overwhelming people with questions? Honestly, it's exhausting."
Not waiting for her to interject, he continued swiftly, "You fainted last night due to exhaustion. I had the maids move you here. And no, I wasn't doing anything funny. I only came here to tell you to take a few days off."
"But"
"No buts! That's an order," Shane cut her off immediately, his tone raised and leaving her no room for argument. "If I catch you, near my room, I'll cut your salary for 10 years and your precious long hair too."
Alice froze, she wanted to protest. Shane turned around and left the room looking satisfied with how he handled it, before she could process his words or say anything back. He also knew she'd figure out soon enough that he had lied about his reasons for coming to her room, but by then, he would have achieved his objective.

After His Magic Theory Class...
Shane stood alone in his room, holding a card shimmering with a golden hue.
[Subordinate Summoning Card (SSS Rank)]
[An exclusive item granted by the Unique System.]
[Effects:
Summons a powerful entity of SSS rank. The entity will be utterly loyal to the host.]
Shane grinned in anticipation. This was the moment he had been waiting for. "Let's see what kind of ally you'll give me, Unique System," he muttered before breaking the card.
The card disintegrated into fine particles, but nothing happened immediately. Just as doubt began to creep in, the room's atmosphere shifted. Dark clouds blanketed the sun outside, casting eerie shadows. A crimson magic circle manifested on the floor, its intricate symbols glowing ominously. Thick black smoke billowed from the circle, coalescing into a humanoid figure.
When the figure fully emerged, Shane found himself staring at an imposing man with an expressionless face. The man's features were unnaturally handsome, his cold aura only adding to his intimidating presence.
Shane and the figure locked eyes, silently assessing each other. Outside, the clouds dissipated as quickly as they had gathered, leaving the residents of the dukedom to chalk up the phenomenon to an odd weather event.
Before Shane could react further, his golden Sight of Genesis activated instinctively. A flicker of light danced in his eyes, and to his astonishment, the demon knelt down. His sharp gaze softened with reverence as he declared, "Sebastian greets the master."
Shane blinked in surprise, but a status window materialized in front of him.

Shane nodded in satisfaction as he looked at the status window of Sebastian, the system had not tricked him and Shane did not really care if the being was human or not. He had given up all his morals and mental constructs as soon as he had died back in his previous life.
"Stand up, Sabastian!, tell me a little about yourself" Shane said while sitting on the luxurious leather chair at the side of the window and sipping on a drink he had with him. He wanted to know more about his first subordinate so he asked.
"Master, my name is Sabastian black from the black family. I am the 7th demon prince from the underworld, I will serve you well!!" Sabastian said as he remained unmoved from his bowing posture.
Shane nodded though he had a few questions he did want to pry too much into his life, he knew that they would gradually come to know each other over time after all he's his first subordinate.
He was not scared after seeing the Sebastian status window in front of him as he had already digested all the information about this world and how power levels worked here.
Unlike his previous world, gaining strength in the Middle World was fairly simple; you just had to kill monsters and gain experience. Even killing a fly could give you experience which on accumulation would help the individual to rise in levels. Crazy right? But it's true..
But that didn't work on individuals of the same race, a human couldn't gain levels by killing another human. but if a human killed a beast he would gain experience. The laws of the world at that time, he guessed.
There were ranks given to everyone which signified their potential and the rank of a person was decided by the rank of their class.
A class rank shows the growth potential of a person as in how easily the person could level up and how fast they can evolve or learn new things.
Classes also showed the path the person should dedicate himself to as he would show max growth in that area. For example, if a sword master class appears in a person then that person can easily gain enlightenment and success while following the path of a sword master.
The person would have the ability to choose other classes as well but their growth would stagnate too soon. and even inherently when a person awakened a class he or she would develop an interest towards that occupation which is a lot more beneficial to the individual.
According to his memories he only new that class ranks were divided into 9 ranks namely = F >> E >> D >>C >>B >> A >> S >> SS >> SSS
He knew that there were other ranks also as he had seen with his sight of genesis but he still preferred to keep things simple for the time being and to not draw any attention to him.
Now he has an SSS class servant he knew that he had become an unstoppable force in the entire empire. Aside from his father all the SSS ranks in the world could be counted on two hands. That's how rare they were actually.
He had many plans in his mind but for now he had to wait and continue with getting used to the gifts he got from the Unique System.
"Get up and guard this room for now" Shane instructed Sebastian as he looked at his system inventory.
Sebastian in the meanwhile stood at the entrance of the room with a devilish subtle smile as if he was happy being summoned. surely there were secrets in his mind
about everything that happened till now, but only time will tell what they were.
[Inventory- Universal Newsletter, Talent card (SSS) X 3, Inheritance card(SSS), Subordinate Summoning card(SSS), Bloodline card(SSS), Dice of Fortune(Artifact-Mythic)]
He had already read all the names when he had drawn these items from the system for the first time. Now he simply wanted to use the gifts as much as he could to get a head start in this world from his peers and even older generations.
he had decided that he would live as a wolf in a sheep's clothing and just deal with nuisances as secretly as he could since he didn't want to face enemies one after another like those courting death scenarios in novels where because mc is either seen as a threat or for the sake of revenge for the people who died by the Mc's hands. and this loop continues on and mc gets stuck in the vicious cycle.
and since he was ultimately using powers granted by the beings he met at the start he would also do them at least some favor by dealing with some trash on this world. although he didn't know the motive of those beings and ultimately he didn't want to know as to avoid being involved in their mess.
His one and only goal would be to live a life in peace and security. Thinking about this he smiled as he felt that his dream will very soon become reality as he uses his cheat like power.
"First I will start by making this Dukedom the safest place in the whole world, and then I will start a family here and then die peacefully of old age "
Shaking his head as he came back to the present, he knew that after being reincarnated he had developed a bad habit of daydreaming but he ignored this and focused on a shiny metallic black dice in his hand that he had just taken out of his inventory to look at its effects. He used his sight of genesis as a transparent window materialized in front of him.
