"F**k!! This is overpowered!!" he shouted, his voice filled with excitement as his brain flashed with ways to exploit the system. Situations like alchemy, blacksmithing, lucky-draws, skills, and even monster drops all these draws filled him were really exciting.

Even without the rest of the system, just possessing this single dice could turn around everything. The potential was way more greater than he knew it.

"Such overpowered items were being handed to me so casually... This system must truly be unique," he said, shaking his head in both disbelief and anticipation as he could see the future possibilities in this.

Taking a deep breath to calm his heart that was beating fast, he stored the dice in his inventory before turning his attention to the other items.

For the next several minutes, he experimented with the other summon card, only to be met with an unexpected message:

[Soul limit has been reached.]

As he stared at this notification, fragments of information flowed into his mind, which he immediately understood. He realized that every summoned formed a permanent bond with the summoner's soul, which naturally limited the number of bonds that could be made.

While this issue typically didn't arise early on, Shane's case was unique. He had bonded with a Level 500 SSS-rank demon (Sebastian Black) which had completely exhausted his soul-binding capacity.

If he had instead contracted with lower-ranked entities, even A-rank or S-rank, he could have managed multiple bonds at his current state. This was likely why the old Shane had never come across this subject, even during magic theory lectures.

Similar problems arose when he tried using the inheritance and bloodline cards. The system notified him that he hadn't undergone his first awakening yet, rendering these items temporarily unusable.

Next, Shane turned his attention to the three talent cards in his inventory. He knew that awakening talents were different from awakening classes. Unlike classes, talents could be awakened at birth or at any time before the age of awakening, as they weren't bound by any age restrictions.

Talents, when awakened, significantly boosted an individual's value, depending on their rank and effects. Generally, individuals with strong talents awakened more powerful classes, as both talents and classes were theoretically linked to the user's soul.

Thus, in this world, an individual's strength ultimately depended on the quality of their soul.

Shaner's gaze fell on the three shimmering cards, adorned with strange, intricate symbols. He willed the cards to activate, and, in response, they emitted a low, resonant hum. Three radiant golden lights shot forth and entered his glabella, leaving him momentarily dazed.

He sat there for a few seconds, his head slightly shaking, before his mind gradually cleared. Feeling more alert with each passing moment, he opened his status window to assess the changes.

Looking at the three screens Shane was quite surprised since he had never heard of such talents with out of the box concepts. all three of them sounded like classes of their own.

Even so, he wasn't about to complain. He understood the fundamental distinction between a class and a talent: while a talent was static, a class enabled growth within a specific profession. The rank of the class determined the pace of this growth. He was sure that these three talents were going to be quite useful in the long run. although for the current situation they were not much of help.

Among the three talents, the one that immediately caught his attention was God-Level Comprehension(SSS). It offered limitless potential to create skill books not only for his own use but also for his subordinates or even for sale. The ability to generate skill books at will could be a massive source of wealth and influence.

The talent of The Architect (SSS) and Runic Mind (SSS) could also help him earn money but he was not sure how much those craft points cost. He had to try everything before coming to a conclusion about the usefulness of his skills.

Shane closed the inventory as he confirmed that no item was left which was useful right now, heaving a sigh of relief as he felt reassured that his supreme Unique system would help him for his future growth. plus being a son a duke came with benefits he never had as a son of a commoner in his previous life.

He looked up towards Sebastian and started formulating a plan to find the culprit of his assassination.

Somewhere in the Nolan estate…

A middle-aged woman dressed in simple yet presentable attire sat rigidly on a chair. Her face was pale, tension written across her features as she stared at the floating magic crystal before her.

A hologram of a figure cloaked in black loomed above the crystal. The figure's face was obscured, with only a pair of sharp, piercing eyes visible.

Silence enveloped the room, the heavy atmosphere pressing down on them both.

"Melinda, you are aware of the punishment for lying about matters of this nature, aren't you?" the shadowy figure's voice rang out, cold and threatening.

"Of course, Master! I would never dare lie. I swear, the young duke is alive and well, not a trace of sickness or injury to be seen," Melinda replied, her voice trembling but resolute.

"knock knock!!"

Both Melinda and the figure in the crystal had their attention drawn towards the source of sound.

"Take care Melinda!, for now you should lay low until further orders from the prince!!"

"Yes master, I will do as you say" Melinda stood up from the seat and bowed.

the crystal stopped shining as she kept it in the drawer. It was a communication crystal for communicating over long distances, only nobles and rich populace could afford these as they were normally very expensive and were created by artifact-masters and rune-smiths. which were rare professions.

Melinda walked to the door thinking she was being called to the class by Shane for his history lectures.

" That damn weasel, just you wait till my master strips you of your life " she cursed under her breath as she opened the door.

As soon as the door opened, the sight in front of her left her speechless. Standing in front of her was a very devilishly charming young man seemingly in his twenties with a chiseled jawline and in black-butler like attire. His face could sway the heart of even the coldest women and make them drool.

A blush appeared on Melinda's face as she looked at the young man as her heart started fluttering before she could speak the man spoke up first giving her no chance "Hello miss Melinda, I am the Sebastian the newly hired personal butler of young master Shane, since it's time for his history class, he has ordered for your presence."

"Ordered??"..."hmph!!, since when did that weasel have the audacity to order me around" Melinda thought in her mind. She had always seen the young duke to be meek and cowardly who was holed up in his room most of the time.

"Let's go" she said as she looked at the young man with a smile.

"Once I escape this place after my mission I will take him with me and make him my boy toy." Melinda thought while looking at Sebastian, a glint passing by in her eyes.

little did she know that she was going to be toyed by the same person soon.
