Within the group of vampires was one who exuded much greater power than the others. Alex could see that his level was 25, not 20 like the others. He was dressed in elegant fabrics, reminiscent of the nobles that inhabited the city of Crystal.

"What the hell is going on here? And where are Victor and Adrian? Adrian wasn't screaming just a moment ago," he said.

Those were the two vampires who had fought against Alex— one was dead, Victor, while Adrian had fled long ago.

"I have no idea, but the most important thing is: what kind of monster is this?" another vampire said.

None of the present vampires knew what kind of creature Alex was, not even the level 25 vampire. It seemed that information about his transformation would remain a mystery for some time.
