Alex saw them from afar. He was on the other tree, using its leaves as cover.

'They think I am a monster. Well, they are not wrong...'

The group of players looked anxious, and they were constantly looking around to see if they spotted something. Now that Backstab saw the claw mark, he had a firm guess that the creature they were chasing was on the trees.

"Always look up," Backstab said, "This creature might be in the trees."

The others looked up, noticing how massive the trees were, and how difficult it was to climb them. There weren't many branches to use to grab.

It was hard. Seeing it made the players sure that the creature they were chasing was agile, smart, and perhaps something they were not ready to face.

"What do you think we should do? Return? Continue following the other footprints we were chasing before?" a player called Kenji said.
