CHAPTER SIX
Winter
"We should find somewhere to stop for the night," Alec says.
Dark fell a few hours ago, and we're still on the highway, a light snow falling down.
I hesitate. I would rather just drive through the night and get to Ravenwood sooner rather than later, but that's not my call to make since I'm not the one with a driver's license. Plus, Alec needs to rest.
And honestly, I do too. I'm still running on adrenaline after what happened in the woods, but soon enough, I'll be crashing, and I'll need a place to rest.
"Nora said we need to find someplace that's friendly to supes." I pull my phone out and look at the map of upcoming hotels, although I'm not sure why. It's not like I'm expecting to find a place called "Vampire Hotel."
"She drew that symbol for us. The one that tells us which places hosts supernaturals." Alec takes a road into a small town. "Let's just start looking for it."
