I woke up in a novel.
i become the cannon fodder ex-wife of the ML who was hopelessly in love with him.
The character was supposed to die but now i am in her body.
LOVE! I am gonna get a divorce anyway it was a contractual marriage.
MONEY! As a genius hacker money is nothing to me.
MEN! Well they flock around me because of my beauty.
But what is this? A man keeps pestering me.
Finally i lashed out,"Who are you?" He said,"My dear wife have you forgotten about me?"

When Su Chen saw Albert rushing inside the ward.He followed him quickly.

The moment, he entered inside, he saw Suzain kneeling  beside the hospital bed.Albert was trying to help her up but she dodged his hand.

On the other hand,Lisa was standing at the side with a dumbfounded express.

Su Chen rushed to Suzain and scooped her up in his arms before laying on her on the hospital bed.

Suzain said weakly while lying on the bed,"Let her go."

He then gestured to the bodyguards who walked to Lisa's side and started to usher her outside of the ward.

At the ward entrance,Lisa turned to look at Suzain and questioned,"Do you pity me?".

Suzain's pale face broke into a smile.She shook her head furiously

"I just don't want to see anyone end up like me."Suzain said while closing her eyes.

Lisa nodded and left with the bodyguards.

Suzain was lying on the bed with her eyes closed.

Su Chen was sitting beside her bedside looking at her worriedly.

Albert was standing beside edge of the bed staring at his left hand.

How he  wish that he could be with her without any reservations like Su Chen?He wished that she could also show that rare expression of reliance and trust,she showed when she looks at Su Chen.

After sometime,Suzain spoke without opening her eyes.

"Brother, you don't need to worry about me.Letting her go does not men that i forgave her or anything.I am not kind and benevolent. Its just that letting her go doesn't necessarily meant that she wouldn't receive her karma."Suzain explained softly.

Su Chen didn't understand her words but he would always support his little star.

Suzain opened her eyes and reached out for the phone lying on the bedside table.

She picked it up and started passing it to Albert.

"Young Master Frost.If you were so eager to listen to our conversation, you should just have told me.I would have let you listen to it anyway.There was no need to act like a EAVESDROPPING TOM."Suzain said sarcastically.

Albert took his phone from Suzain and said a bit embarrassedly,"I was just worried that she might do something to you,"

Suzain and Su Chen looked at him as if they wee seeing a ghost after hearing his reply.

"What kind of reaction is this?"Albert asked confusedly.

"Nothing, it feels strange that someone like you would also be worried about others."Suzain replied honestly.

They both were stunned by her honesty.

Isn't she a bit too straightforward?

Albert thought to himself,"Am i that heartless?(Yes, you are.)"

A minute later,Suzain and Su Chen engaged in a conversation. Laughing and chatting happily, completely ignoring Albert's existence.

Finally, after some time.Albert couldn't stand being ignored.

"Assistant Su, Although, i agreed on not making you work overtime but these are working hours.A lot work has been waiting for you at the company."Albert reminded him coldly.

"Can't i take a lave of absence?" Su chen looked up at him and asked with a displeased expression.

Albert was irked y his expression.His assistant has been with her for only a few hours but she managed to make him talk back to his boss whom he had served obediently for years.
