I woke up in a novel.
i become the cannon fodder ex-wife of the ML who was hopelessly in love with him.
The character was supposed to die but now i am in her body.
LOVE! I am gonna get a divorce anyway it was a contractual marriage.
MONEY! As a genius hacker money is nothing to me.
MEN! Well they flock around me because of my beauty.
But what is this? A man keeps pestering me.
Finally i lashed out,"Who are you?" He said,"My dear wife have you forgotten about me?"

After a long period of silence ,Albert sighed heavily.

"I am not sure about my feelings for her yet.But,i know the fact that she would be the only woman in my life.Also, i would never hurt her."Albert said sincerely.

Su Chen knew that Albert was serious regarding his relationship with Suzain because Albert wasn't someone who jokes or take things lightly.Once he said something, he would hold on to his words forever and if decides to do something, he would complete it no matter what.

Having worked for Albert for so long,Su Chen was able to see his sincere and serious expression at the moment and he was sure that Albert was unlikely to give up on Suzain.

"What if i don't allow you?"Su Chen asked tactfully.

"Then, i will just have to work even harder."Albert replied with a hint of a smile in his eyes.

Does this man think that he is his boss so he would let him steal his precious little star?

"Then i will wait for your hard work."Saying this,Su Chen started walking off without looking back.

Although,Su Chen knew that Albert wouldn't give up and one day he had to let go of his little star.It doesn't mean that he would let Albert have his own way.

Well! He would allow Albert to pursue Suzain but it doesn't mean that Albert would win her heart and even if he gave his consent, that day isn't going to come any sooner.

Albert looked at Su Chen's departing back and his lips couldn't help but curl upwards in a smile.

So, this is how it felt like to have a brother-in -law.This feeling is not bad.(Someone who doesn't give a sh*t about his divorce and still shamelessly claim to be someone's husband and someone's brother-in-law.)

Albert walked inside the ward. Suzain had already fallen asleep as she was exhausted after dealing with Lisa.

Albert walked up to her and tucked her in the blanket gently.Then, he kissed her forehead as Su Chen's question kept echoing in his mind.

Albert really couldn't figure out his feelings for Suzain.

As Albert laid on his bed and recalled how he promised Su Chen to never hurt Suzain but he didn't managed to keep his word.

Su Chen told him yesterday only that he was okay with him pursuing Suzain.

Su Chen also told him that he could start pursuing Suzain after three days.

Coming to think of this,Didn't Suzain mentioned in her letter  that she was originally leaving two days from today.Then, from yesterday if one calculate it would be the day Suzain leaves that he could start pursuing her.

Albert realized that he had been played by Su Chen.

He also realized that Su Chen already knew about Suzain's plan of leaving two days later.

Albert couldn't help but feel frustrated. HE MESSED UP EVERYTHING.

Let alone getting Suzain's love, it would be a great thing even if she forgave him after what he had done.

Albert closed his eyes to calm himself down but the scene of Suzain looking at him like a stranger flashed across his mind.
