Taming the dragon

[Liam’s POV]

I can’t believe it. As I walk away from Liv, my emotions swirl in a turbulent sea of frustration, anger, and shame. Her rejection is like a dagger through my heart, and it fuels a simmering rage within me. I can’t believe she won’t even let me explain, and perhaps my desperation to explain myself is a manifestation of my insecurity about who I’ve become.

Navigating through the crowded corridors of the university, I can feel the dragon inside me stirring. It’s like a coiled serpent, ready to strike, responding to the storm of emotions I can’t keep in check. The dragon has a mind of its own, and it wants to emerge. I know that once it does, there will be no hiding what I am, no suppressing the power and fury that comes with it.
