a massive scale, involving credit cards, property, banking.
As the recent Banking crisis clearly shows, the World is
vulnerable to these flaws, using the instant responses of
the internet to destabilise the whole system, and through
it, us. The governments of the World explained it all away
as just market forces, but then, they would say that,
wouldn't they? In reality, as shocking as it was, one man
orchestrated our downfall.. For those of us who want to

Alone in his modern castle, he restlessly wandered round the high-level perimeter road he had constructed so long ago. It gave him an overview of the sea at the front, and at the back, the wild countryside, a desolate but beautiful place where he could feel free of human contact. 


Here at night though, it was also a lonely place where the wind moaned softly like a wounded creature. Stopping for a moment, he watched the distant lights of the isolated dwelling places that flickered spasmodically among the shifting trees. How he missed her at times like this!
