The Atelier Patriarch

Edgar Tower's banquet hall was a sprawling room with a rustic design. Now scintillating with chandeliers, lavish buffet tables, and exquisitely dressed guests, it gave the impression of a royal event.

All bigwigs of the city and abroad attended the Springfield Rapids Project's launch party. It was also a haven to discuss their own deals and tie-ups.

Most elite groups formed their own circles. The Triumvirate, the Blackwells, the Mayor's family, Hollywood folks, top media people, and so on, had their own closed gatherings within the banquet hall. The place buzzed with important talks and discussions.

Carol was seated at the Atelier table with Josh, Martha, and Ronald. Opposite them were faces fresh to Springfield. Keegan Atelier was an old man with a severe disposition. Around him were his two sons, Greg and John, and their respective wives, Cara and Elaine. Greg's son, Raylan, was also present. Eva Atelier, John and Elaine's young daughter, was the only one missing.
