"Khuaa! Huaah! Haa... Ha.."

When Barney's fist connected, Urchin felt his world turning upside down. His mind completely went blank before he was sent flying a few good metres.

It was shocking that the son of the strongest Kicker got his kick blocked by a mage.

Urchin body fiddled like that of a snake before finally coming to a halt.

He soon came to his senses, however his face was all covered in blood as he gathered the strength to get up on his feet.

"Fucken shit," Urchin cursed, wiping the blood around his off his eye area.

He dusted his uniform before looking at Barney with a wicked grin plasted on his face.

Despite realizing the gravity of he situation, which was not in his favour, which would cause a normal person to fall into despair, Urchin in an obscure was irritated by seeing Barney's grin

Honestly, he didn't want to lose to Sky, after all they are both friends and rivals at different things.

Sky fought a Spirit mage meaning he fought someone stronger than Barney. Even if spirits are not cool as familiars they are still troublesome to deal with.

Shaking his head, Urchin raised his hands towards his senior and started firing a barrage of Magic bullets.

Barney responded by making a four layer black shield infront of his eyes, which released an ominous energy.

The first two layers shattered into nothing, before Urchin came to a halt.

"Whats wrong!? Looks like someone is running out of mana!" Barney barked as he prepared to shot a water slash.

"Who knows?" Urchin smiled, channeling mana over his body.

The red haired boy didn't waste time and began floating in the air, avoiding the water wave completely.

"[Lock Target] [Fire Rain]"

Right at that moment, Barney yelled out his most powerful spell before raising his palms at aiming it at Urchin.

To the class 1 zero student's horror, Urchin knew that it would be tough for him to dodge or block the attack as most of his spells were on a cool down.

'Fuck, this is going to hard to avoid,' Urchin thought as raised his palms towards Barney before channeling mana into them.

Suddenly, violent drops of purple flames crackled in front of Barney's extended palms. His sclera started turning black and before he knew it his eyes where all black.

"This is where it ends, you did your best," Barney taunted, as he felt a surge of power course through his body.

With a gust of wind the purple drops of fire rushed towards the red haired boy like beams of light.

Since all this happened in the blink of an eye, Urchin just kept on channeling mana into hands. Chills ran down his spine as he thought that his mother's story might turn out to be a lie.

However, at the very last second, Urchin to create a faint blue egg shaped shield which covered his whole body.

Countless explotions took place at the point Urchin was floating at. 

"Heh," Barney scoffed.

Demolishing young talented brats like the one he had just was something he considered his job. It was what made him feel more alive than anything.

With the Demonic Mana that had started to corrupt his brain, he wanted to call Sky and the rest of Class 1 Zero and make sure they never see the light of day again.

His mind was no longer sane, and the only thing he could thing of was killing someone.

Just as Barney started to walk towards the stands, the smoke cleared making him halt his steps and the image of Urchin who had all of his top clothes burnt up with blood trickling down his lips.

Barney couldn't make sense of what was happening as he was sure his strongest attack couldn't be blocked so easily.

"Heh," Urchin began to speak as he slowly landed on the ground, "That tickles."

Barney's face busted down in rage as he barked, "Just what the hell are you!"

Urchin wiped the blood of his lips and replied, "Someone who trained a little bit of krav Maga before running away."

Before Barney could speak any further, Urchin willed mana all over his body and dashed at the fiend, closing the distance between them in a mere second.

Urchin performed a Muay Thai knee kick towards his opponent's face with great might. Barney wasn't able to block the kick, making him step a few metres back as groaned in pain.

Urchin didn't waste a single second and knocked his senior in jujutsu style before he started sending a barrage of punched towards Barney.

With each single punch the more The Demonic Mana started to take control over Barney brain, making him lose his mind, before he screamed in agony.

Right in that very second, a dark aura was released from Barney's body and created a huge explosion that pushed away the red haired boy.

Urchin's body rolled on the ground for a few seconds before gathering the energy to stand on his feet.

"Heee! Hahaha! Hee! Hahaha~!"

A wicked laughter started to excape Barney's lips as he stood up from the ground.

"No way!" Urchin exclaimed as his red eyes glared at Barney, "He is a member of The Joker Dark Guild."

A gust of Demonic Mana was released from Barney's body as muscles started forming, making him look like a athletic fit red skinned human with long claws and fangs.

"Why does shit like this always happen to me?" Urchin looked at his smartwatch, "A few more minutes left. For now lets go with close combat."

The red haired boy channeled mana into both his hands and legs, before rushing towards Barney leaving the floor cracked.

"Die!" Barney barked, as Demonic Mana covered his whole body before dashing his junior with lighting speed.

Back on the stands when Stewart saw that the student he had picked as his test subject for his Guild had blown up his cover, he knew he had to get away before he was forced to face Sun Yao.

He used both [Silent Casting] and [Teleportion] when everyone was still looking at the changes happening to Barney.

"Ohh he is quite quick to run away," Dean smiled as he looked at the position Steward was sitting on a second ago

"Yes," Clara noded, as she looked at her smartwatch, "I can't believe we had a member of the Joker Guild as one of our faculty members."

"Its a disgrace to the Academy," Sun Yao said, as she thought, 'I can't believe we let a spy in and to make it worse he destroyed the whole Zero tower together with its student last year.'

"Hi Dean," The systemlesss Evester turned his head to face Sky who had called him before he added, "Aren't you going after Wait for it after all he ran away for a bet."

"This news mustn't get off the Academy Campus," The principal looked at Dean while sighing a bit, "The Griffin Mage Academy can't afford to mess with The Joker Dark Guild, as a lot of things are at risk.

So it would be better if someone connected to the Dawn Star Guild take care of Stewart. I am positive the Joker Guild wouldn't try to mess with them."

Dean wasn't stupid enough not to understand what Sun Yao was trying to say after all the Dawn Star Guild was the third strongest Guild in the Hero Union and also the Guild lead by Denzel and Dione Evester.

"Don't worry about that he is already taken care off," Dean extend his hand towards The Principal, "Can I have that Mana contract we signed earlier."

"Okay," Sun Yao gave the pink haired man the Mana Contract, "As he you know Mana Contracts are only able to make a person decrease a level at max."

"I didn't know that, but thank you," Dean stored the Mana contract in his trenchcoat pocket, "I will leave right after watching Urchin."

"Ohh Okay," The Principal stood up, "Class 2 Emerald is temporally closed. Class 1 Zero now owns all the floors obtained by 2 Emerald."

Sun Yao and Clara left the fighting grounds together with the 2 Emerald students, leaving only members of 1 Zero to watch the on going match.
