Hobbies are a good distraction from existential crisis!

Dialoco wanted to make the anniversary of his nightclub a moment to remember for eons and eons to come. That why he prayed for the Goddess of partying herself to come and spice up the event. And more importantly, to give him advice on what to do, Her carefree and drunken demeanor may fool you but she actually a savant when it comes to planning and organizing.

Dialoco sighed and sat down on the plush golden couch that sparkle just under the right lighting. He decided to grab a bottle from the bucket of ice sitting next to the couch. Never know when you needed to get a good buzz going. The bottle of Strawberry wine that Zylon liked so much, imported from Valikand. The land of fruits and violence. He set it on the table in front of the demi-god known to many as Zylon. He got out two shot glasses as well and put them on the mahogany table.

"A drink, Zylon?" Dialoco asked.

"Thanks but no thanks, i need to stay focused ." Zylon said curtly as he sat straight up. Dialoco was surprised, to say the least. Next to Winfrey, Zylon was one of the biggest drinkers he know among the gods.

Before, if Dialoco asked if Zylon wanted a drink, Zylon was already picking out his favorite drink, downing bottle after bottle like it was water. He look at Zylon who was clearly uncomfortable, his hands fidgeting.

Dialoco took the bottle off the table and placed it back in the ice.

The Faun could tell there was story a behind this, but decided not to press any further. He had matters after all.

They both decided to go over what Dialoco wanted him to do.

Malakai was working on the mech bouncers, there was a good number of people in the club already. Dancing, drinking, generally doing things that would make him anxious. Malakai was in the special designated room that was big and spacious. It was where they kept the equipment that was smuggled in from the modern worlds known as Earth. He made the mecha automations in about two hours last night, He was now ironing out the kinks.

Now giving each of them a personality wouldn't be too hard, It was as simple as placing both his hands on his creation and imbuing them with the personality he wanted them to have. It didn't need to be complex and multi-layered. Just a few simple traits and they're good to go. And to Malakai's great surprise and fascination, they can evolve their personalities over time.

And no he can't do this to every machine just the ones he personally creates.

"Okay, just add some knockout gas, adjust the strength to make them not too dangerous, increase the..." He muttered to himself as he worked. He really did enjoyed this process, it was one of the few things that brought him peace. Plenty of opportunities to make new stuff.

"A detachable arm propelled by fuel. Mental link with all the other automations." Malakai continued to mutter to himself as he continue to move around t he area in a blur adjusting each and every one of them in a fervent passion.

Ah, the joys of working, it takes your mind off how you're quite possibly the most pathetic person alive, who people only deal with to get something from you. Well at least he making himself useful, what he don't have in looks and personality, he can make up tenfold in utility.

As Winfrey suggested he brought some nice clothes but he didn't had them on yet. It was a orange tuxedo and a black undershirt with orange pants. It was pretty flashy but Malakai never been invited to any event like this, so he no clue on how to dress for this occasion. So he took inspiration from his brother, Cheelege. That man always knew how to rock a suit. His anxiety increase as he thought of tonight's event.

Malakai could barely talk with his fellow gods he known for years much less a whole crowd of strangers judging your every move. Krania and her son Garwik understand him well enough, Everybody else is patient with him. He feels Winfrey is especially patient with him.

"I had done nothing to earn your kindness, Winfrey." He said to himself without even realizing it.

"The party isn't too far away, I promise her that I would show up but all those people will be watching me. I am a God attending a club party after all. Especially a God who is basically a joke in the eyes of many. Let them think that, because it true. I chopped off my own deformed legs just so I can replace them and finally feel good about myself."

Malakai laughs after he said that. Tears threatened to spill over but he blinked them away as the water in his eyes turned to vapor.

"But in truth, i feel worst. Mother always said that i had a tendency to overcorrect and she was right. I'm nothing more than a complete and utter waste of exis-" Malakai continued on oblivious to Winfrey who been there for about three minutes.

"He is way too hard on himself." Winfrey thought sadly, but she immediately perked up when she remembers a way to make people feel better about themselves. A way she learned from a Goddess of Love, not the first one but her second daughter.

"Hey there, my lovely ball of anxiety." A voice from behind him said happily.

Malakai was broken out of his self-hatred at the comment of Winfrey, steam started to rise off his face.

"Please tell me, she didn't hear any of that!" Malakai worried in his head for once.

Winfrey walk over to him and place a hand on his cheek, getting dangerously close to his face. She stared deep into his eyes, seeing a intense sadness. Malakai started to stutter badly, his eyes once again burning a bright fiery orange. "Why is she doing this?" Malakai thought as she kept getting closer.

"W-Winfrey wha-what are yo-you-" She placed a finger on his lip, his lips was warm as a oven on 450 degrees. She quickly took her finger off and got closer, their lips only inches apart.

"I need something from you." She said low and huskily as she placed her arms around Malakai's waist.

"She not, no no, she not going, oh, oh, this is happening, oh gods, i never even imagined this." Malakai's mind was racing a mile a minute as Winfrey drew closer and closer.

"A Progress report." She said playfully as she pinch Malakai's cheek lightly. He can smell the alcohol on her breath, the smell of oranges and Malt liquor.

Malakai stumbled back from the wine goddess, only to be even more surprised at what she was wearing. She was wearing a purple business suit, with a pencil skirt of matching color.

"I hope you remember what just happened Malakai, because with wine like the one i making tonight, people tend to get a little freaky." Winfrey said to him, nonchalantly smiling at her still blushing mess of a friend. She wondered about also teaching him the art of CRUNK, or the more modern dancing technique known as "grinding". But she didn't want Malakai's heart to explode.

Malakai slowly nodded, how long had it been since anyone touched him and made him feel wanted? It reminded him of his mom, Eris hugging him tightly, putting to rest his issues with his mangled legs. Or Aphros just caressing his face after giving her exquisite jewelry made from his own hands.

"How Pathetic am i?" Malakai thought, there was no doubt he was a sad excuse for a God, no as a living organism.

"So are you going to tell me how amazing your work is or do i have to seduce outta you?" Winfrey said, getting dangerous close again. Positive reinforcement through flirting, A trick she picked up from Devilla. Although she felt she may be going overboard with him just a little.

Malakai was immediately snapped out of his self-degradation.

"W-Well I'm currently tweaking the bouncers, the effects machine is already finished and will be delivered shortly." He said, steam still rising off his face as he went to go get a glass of water.

"How long did it take to make those bouncers?" Winfrey ask curiously.

"Around two hours last night, so i should be done within the hour, I just have to add the necessary adjustments." Malakai said, he took a sip of the cool water.

"Perfect!" Winfrey said as she bring up her hand in a high five motion.

Malakai took a second to comprehend the gesture but got it and returned the high five.

Winfrey's smile beamed making Malakai smile as well.

"Alright I'll leave you to it." Winfrey said, blowing a kiss in Malakai's direction and leaving.

Malakai stood there for a moment, completely flabbergasted at what she just did. That was another reason he admired her so greatly. You never know what to expect with her.

"She is something else." Malakai sighed and went back to work. A small smile made it way across his face. He was going to cherish this feeling for as long as he can.

Dialoco bring out a piece of parchment paper and showed it to Zylon who was eating a Grape-Peanut Sunrise. Or as it known in the modern realms, A peanut butter jelly sandwich with sliced bananas.

"So this the main event?" Zylon asked as he examined the paper. It was a flyer "With special guests of honor, one of the few Blessed by Apollo himself. She had long, Luxurious black hair, light green skin, a red shimmering dress that shows off her curves, she look likes she works out everyday, black lipstick and purple pupils that was brought out by the complementing yellow eye shadow, and long black gloves.

"The mistress of Jazbluro, The mysterious and sensational Swano Loxtia!" Zylon looked up to see Dialoco smiling.

"She should be here shortly, i just need you to introduce her with your natural charisma . With your status as the people's hero you've been building up over the past year, this should be no problem for someone like you." Dialoco explained.

Zylon fidgeted just a little, He tugged at his collar. Finally noticing how warm the room was. he wasn't being a hero just to be celebrated. Just a year ago, he didn't think much or really care about the people who was getting robbed, cheated, and killed by these awful people. To be fair he was drunk as fuck back then and was way more concerned with wallowing in his misery.

"Like that an excuse, who am i? Winfrey?" Zylon thought to himself but felt like a complete piece of shit afterwards.

"Like i have any room to judge." He thought to himself, annoyed that he found himself slipping back into these negative habits.

"You want me to go get her?" Zylon asked, already standing up and ready to speed off.

"Oh no, she coming through a portal courtesy of her husband." Dialoco explained, taking another sip.

Zylon nodded, he needed to change his clothes, it would look pretty tacky if he introduced her in his everyday attire. Garwik and Devilla respectively had poke fun at him about his shirt design.

"So, a lighting bolt? Because you're fast like lighting right?" Devilla asked about Zylon's new shirt. Her and Zylon went to accompany Garwik to fight off a siege of Chuptala from the armies of Orandia. Zylon was there for message delivering and Devilla there for boosting morale along with her fellow servants of love. Zylon laughed it off.

"Yup, basically." He replied.

"It too easy to joke about that." Devilla said plainly, shrugging her shoulders.

"Since when did you have standards?" Garwik questioned.

Devilla was offended and gasped dramatically.

"How dare you assume that I'm low brow!" Devilla said angrily. Garwik sighed and Zylon smiled.

"But ignoring Garwik's hurtful assumptions, A lighting bolt is pretty on the nose, don't you think?" Devilla asked, pointing at his shirt.

"Imagine if i went around in a shirt that said war on it." Garwik chimed in, smiling to himself as Devilla laughed her beautiful ass off. Zylon smiled, he tell them one day why he wears this.

"Ok, say the guy who wears mainly army general uniforms in the other realm. WE GET IT. NO AMOUNT OF SWAGGER CAN OFFSET THE PURE PRETENTIOUS OF YOUR FASHION CHOICES." Zylon pointed out as Devilla laughed even harder. Garwik got annoyed at this because he enjoys wearing them and considering he usually only in the other realms for commanding armies and fighting wars, it make sense that he would wear an appropriate attire.

"You being awfully bold for a man who couldn't outrun his mother's wrath. You surely remember that time you went back into the past and try to fix that precious vase that you broke." Garwik reminded Zylon who flipped him off.

"Ooooh now me personally, i would not let that slide even if it was my best friend." Devilla said as she snacked on some chocolate dipped strawberries.

"Devilla....shut up. You can't even talk Ms. I'm so fierce yet scared of some mice that entered your oh so humble abode of a mansion." Zylon roasted her as he recalled the time Devilla's screams could be heard from miles and miles across the lands because of of some cute little mice. Devilla glared at him. The servants of love were a little frightened as they felt the atmosphere shift from calm to tense and fearful.

Garwik wonders how Zylon would get himself out of this one.

"I know we're on our way to a battle but if you want to fight right now just say the word and i will happily oblige." Devilla told Zylon who shrugged. Not wanting to fight Devilla for very good reasons. It not that he lose mind you it just that the emotional damage he will receive will never heal.

"Ok let me get dressed real quick." With that Zylon was gone within a blink of the eye. Within seconds, he was dressed in a sparkling blue suit, with a black dress shirt underneath. A white bowtie adorned the shirt.

Dialoco whistled.

"Zylon, my friend you should wear suits more often!" He complimented and took another sip of his wine. Zylon smiled, it was true. He didn't wear suits often, he honestly prefers his old attire. A portal appeared in front of them. Zylon glanced over at Dialoco who was just grinning like a fool.

A woman stepped out of the portal. A beautiful woman at that. She was an orc, that was quite apparent from her green skin and well toned muscles that were practically budging from her dress. Her long black hair fell in waves across her back.

She wore a red shimmering dress that was slit up the side, showcasing her muscular legs. She had on visually stunning black heels that had golden teeth separating the shoe from the heel. Not that she needed the height booster as she easily towered over the two. Her yellow eyes studied the Demi-God and half-goat like they were a painting.

"Hello, were you two expecting little ole me?" Swano asked, smiling warmly at the two.
