Heart warming feelings.

Turning to look back at me, he spoke, "Erica, if you don't stay near me now, I might lose my way. Be there if you can, because Bianca." He trailed off, "Well, I sent her out of the house."

"No, finish the sentence. Benjamin Bianca, what?" I furiously asked

"Let's talk about it later, not in front of Penny, okay?" He made the point that we should have been discussing such topics before our daughter, but I was not comfortable going to his mansion.

 

"Benjamin, you can take me to my place. I am more comfortable there."

"Erica" 

"No more Erica Benjamin, just take me to..." 

"I just want a normal life, Erica!" he pleaded, his eyes pleading for understanding. "Is it too much to ask? I can't resist her when it's just me with her, but you pull me back somehow. You somehow ground me; remind me of what's truly important."
