Somehow, even without Bernadette, I made it to Eleventh Chocolate before Other Me. I may have jaywalked and cut across people's lawns and store parking lots. I know, I know, shame on me. Still, I probably only had a few extra minutes to scope things out.
First up? Eleventh Chocolate itself. Lucy wasn't yet sitting in front, so I made my way to the back, peeking in windows as I went. For a store that was supposed to open next week, it looked awfully empty.
Except... There was something propping open the door that led to the back room. I fished out my phone, snapped a pic, and then blew it up so I could see it better. It looked like it was a brick of a book with a blue cover. The spine read Chilton. Chilton, as in the car repair manuals. I was sure of it because I recognized the font and had several dusty volumes on Sunray's shelves.
