Epicness: Eli, the Divine Extractor

In the world.

There are two types of Dungeons.

The first one is 'Normal Dungeon'.

This type of dungeon doesn't close after a Player enters it.

And, no matter how long the Player stays inside the dungeon, the entrance will not disappear.

The players can enter and exit the dungeon as many times as they want.

It also allows more players to enter the dungeon, even though there is already a party inside the dungeon.

The second type is 'Locked Dungeon'.

It's exactly the same as the normal dungeon, but, when a Player, or, a Party enters it, the entrance closes, and doesn't open until it is cleared.

There is no way to reopen the entrance before the dungeon is cleared.

In short, it's a Dungeon which is like a tomb.

And, once a Player enters the dungeon, there is no way out.

That is unless the dungeon is cleared.

Or, the one who entered it has a Dungeon Card.

But, there are only 100 cards in the entire world.

And, Sera's guild, One Guild, is one of the owners of the card.

It is the only guild that has 5 cards, and the guild, which has the most amount of them.

It could bring back a person from the Dungeon to the real world, doesn't matter if it is a Normal or a Locked Dungeon.

And, the player who has it enters the dungeon, cannot only get himself out, but, also, can get all the monsters, creatures, and the other Players, that are inside the dungeon, out.

But, Leo had forgotten to give Rael a card.

He was supposed to give Rael a card, so he could come back anytime.

But, even without the card, Sera's determination was enough.

Because, there was a player who could open the dungeon, and make the entrance appear again.

A Player, who could open and close the entrance of the dungeon.

He was the 'Divine Extractor'.

"Why hasn't the Guild Master of One Guild has appeared yet?" The Guild Master of the Royal Knights, The King, asked, and his eyes were filled with anger.

He was getting impatient.

The meeting had started, and it had already been 10 minutes.

"Yes, where is she?" The Guild Master of the Immortal Guild, Mr. Immortal, questioned, "She had never been late before, so, why now?"

"My assistant has just informed me, that she will not be able to attend the meeting. She has something important to do." The Dragon Slayer said, his voice was calm.

"Is it really that important? It better be a good reason, because, this is the first time in history that she has been late. We are having an important discussion here, and it concerns her, as well," The King declared, and his tone was cold.

"It must be really important," The Dragon Slayer answered, and his eyes were filled with rage.

"And, I will not tolerate, if you keep on talking bad about her. Do you understand?" His voice was harsh, and his expression was fierce.

"Oh, is that so?" The King smirked, and his gaze was locked on the Dragon Slayer.

"Yes, it is. So, show some respect," the Dragon Slayer replied, and his eyes were full of hatred.

"Okay, I will apologize," the King said, and his expression was filled with sarcasm.

"Thank you," the Dragon Slayer said, and his voice was filled with mockery.

"So, now that one of us isn't here, can we continue the discussion?" The Immortal asked, and his expression was annoyed.

"No, we should postpone the meeting. Without the Guild Master of One Guild, the discussion won't be fruitful," the Dragon Slayer suggested, his voice filled with disappointment.

"I agree. There is no point in continuing the meeting," the King stated, and his eyes were filled with frustration.

"We should discuss it another time," The Immortal said, and his expression was grim.

"That would be for the best," the Dragon Slayer said, and he nodded.

"I think that is the only option," the Immortal agreed, and stood

"I think that is the only option," the Immortal agreed, and stood up.

"Yeah, let's postpone it," the King stated, and he stood up too.

And, they all left.

The meeting was over.

Outside the building where the meeting was held, the Immortal walked towards the car that was waiting for him.

His assistant, a woman with black hair, was walking beside him.

"What do you think, Ms. Lily? Do you think they are hiding something from us?" The Immortal asked, and his brows were furrowed.

"Maybe, but, there is nothing we can do. Without the Guild Master of One Guild here, it will not work," Ms. Lily answered, and her voice was filled with disappointment.

"It looks like, we have to wait for the Guild Master of One Guild," the Immortal said, and a smile appeared on his face.

He opened the door of the car and sat in the backseat.

"Phew~"

"It has been a long day."

He sighed and closed his eyes.

"Should we go home, Sir?" Ms. Lily, who had sat on the seat beside him, asked, her expression was calm.

"Yeah, let's go home," the Immortal answered, and he leaned back on the seat.

But before Lily could say anything, a voice reached both of their ears.

"I will never leave you. Oh oh oh~," It was a familiar voice, and it was singing.

"I will never ever leave you~," the voice was getting louder, and both of them knew who it belonged to.

"Oh oh oh, you are the best in the whole world, oh oh oh~," It was Eli's voice.

He was sitting in the driver's seat, and his eyes were closed.

He was humming the song, and he had a huge smile on his face.

He was enjoying himself.

And the song.

It was one of his favorites.

He was wearing a headphone, and his favorite music was playing.

His head was bobbing up and down, and his body was swaying.

He was so lost in his own world, that he didn't even notice the car door opening, and the two figures, that were now sitting behind him.

"I will fight for you, and protect you, oh oh oh~," he continued singing.

His eyes were closed and his hands were swinging around.

"I will fight Demons, and kill Dragons~," his voice was getting louder, and his body was rocking.

"Gods, and Angels, I will destroy them, just to be with you, oh oh oh~,"

"You are mine, just mine, and only mine, oh oh oh~," his voice was becoming hoarse, and his head was moving from side to side.

"Eli," Lily spoke, her tone was calm, and her expression was serious.

But, Eli didn't hear her.

He was still singing the song.

"Eli," Lily called him, and her voice was a bit louder.

"I will do anything, to be with you," But, Eli continued singing, and his expression was still calm.

"Eli," Lily yelled, and her voice was filled with anger.

"Huh? What? Oh, hi, Boss, and Ms. Lily," he greeted, his eyes widened as he looked at the two people who were sitting on the seats behind him.

"Are you okay?" Lily asked, her tone was calm, and her expression was gentle.

"Yes, I am fine. I was just singing my favorite song," Eli explained, he grabbed his headphones and pulled them off.

"Yeah, we can see that," the Immortal stated, his eyes were focused on Eli.

"So for how long have you been there, and aren't you back a little too soon?" He questioned, and his brows were furrowed.

"For some time, and because, the Guild Master of One Guild is not here, so, the meeting was postponed," Lily answered, her voice was calm, and her expression was blank.

"What? Sera is not here? Why?" Eli's expression was confused, and his eyes were full of shock.

"I don't know. But, I heard that, she has something important to do," the Immortal answered, his eyes filled with confusion.

"Something important? What can be more important than the meeting?"

"That's what I thought. But, apparently, they said it is important," Lily explained, and her eyes were full of curiosity.

"I-i see," Eli said, and his expression changed.

He had a sad smile on his face.

He was sad, and disappointed.

The Immortal noticed it and asked.

"Did you plan you meet her, after the meeting?"

"Yeah, I did," Eli admitted, and his eyes were full of regret.

"I am sorry," the Immortal apologized, and his eyes were filled with sympathy.

"It's okay. It's not your fault," Eli assured, and his tone was cheerful.

"Well, you can just go to her after taking me home, and meet her there. That way, you will still be able to see her," the Immortal said, his eyes were shining with a mischievous light, and a wide smile was on his face.

"Huh, yeah, you are right," Eli agreed, and his expression changed.

"Well, then let's go." He turned his attention to the wheel, and he started the car.

"Let's go," the Immortal agreed, and the car began to move.

It was a very peaceful night.

The wind was blowing, the air was cool, and the stars were shining brightly.

And, everything was quiet.

No sound, no noise, no commotion.

But, suddenly, a loud voice could be heard.

[I am sorry for hacking your devices, but, this is an important announcement.]

The voice was coming from the car's speakers, their phones, and the other electronic devices, that were present.

And, it was being transmitted throughout the whole world.

And, everyone who was listening to it, was shocked.

They were surprised and confused.

"Huh, what is going on?"

"What the hell is happening?"

"Why is there an announcement, at this time of the night?"

People were muttering, and asking questions.

But, they soon got their answer.

[Please, listen carefully, Sera, the Guild Master of the One Guild, is asking for help. She wants the Divine Extractor to meet her at Desert's Hell dungeon. Please if you are him, then go there immediately, as it is a very urgent matter. She is waiting for you, and hurry up.]

Everyone in the world heard it.

It was the announcement, and it was broadcast on every electronic device in the world.

The voice was loud, and it was clear.

It was a male's voice.

And, the owner of the voice, was a player, who could hack and control any kind of electronic device in the world.

[That's all. Thank you for your cooperation.]

The announcement ended.

And, everyone was shocked.

"Huh, did I just hear it correctly?"

"The Guild Master of One Guild, is asking the Divine Extractor, to go to the Dungeon, Desert's Hell?"

"Yeah, she is really calling the Divine Extractor, and asking him to go to the Dungeon."

"But, why? And, what is the emergency?"

"I don't know. But, we are gonna find out."

The world was buzzing.

Everyone was talking about the announcement.

The news, the media, the netizens, everyone was discussing the same topic.

And, the name of the man, who was involved, was on their lips.

The name, the man, who had caught their attention, and was now in the center of the spotlight.

-"What will Divine Extractor do?"

-"Will he go?"

-"If he does, then what will happen?"

-"This is the first time that someone has called him. And, even asked him, to go somewhere."

-"Yeah, this is the first time."

-"Maybe, the Guild Master of One Guild is in love with him?"

-"What? Are you serious? That can't be."

-"Why not? It is possible."

On one specific news channel, a debate was going on.

There were two people in the studio, and they were discussing the current situation.

About Sera being in love with the Divine Extractor.

But, they didn't know the actual reason.

And, they couldn't guess it.

They couldn't imagine that Sera was waiting for Rael, and wanted to enter the dungeon for him.

Also when the announcement reached Eli's ears, his expression changed.

His eyes were wide, and his mouth was opened.

'Sera is waiting for me?'

He thought, and his heart was beating fast.

He stopped the car at the side of the road and looked at the Immortal.

"Wait, you aren't really thinking of leaving us here? You know that none of us can drive, right?" The Immortal stated, his eyes were filled with shock as he predicted what was about to happen.

"Yeah, I am." Eli raised his hand and snapped his fingers. "Goodbye."

"No, wait." The Immortal yelled, but, before he could say anything else, Eli disappeared.

His body had turned into particles and vanished.

Leaving Lily and the Immortal in the car, alone.

"Fuck, Eli," the Immortal cursed, and he clenched his teeth.

"Damn it, that bastard."

He was angry.

And, pissed.

Because, he was left here, in the middle of the night, with no transportation.

He couldn't drive, and Lily couldn't either.

"Boss," Lily called out, her expression was serious.

"Yes, what is it?" The Immortal responded, his expression was calm.

"What are we going to do now?" She asked, her tone was worried, and her brows were furrowed.

"What are we gonna do? Of course, we will call someone and go to Desert's Hell dungeon to see what kind of emergency is it for Sera to ask him for help," The Immortal answered, his eyes burning with fury.

"I knew you would say that," Lily said, and her voice was relieved.

"Well, I will call my friend, and ask him to pick us up." She took her phone out and started typing.

And as she was going to click the call button, the car's speakers and her phone spoke up again.

It was the same voice as before.

The voice, who had sent the announcement.

[A, ahem~ Hello everyone, I am the one who made the announcement before. There is something I want to convey from the Guild Master Sera, so please listen carefully.

"If anyone other than the Divine Extractor comes to Desert's Hell dungeon, then it will be the last night of their lives. This is not a warning. This is a promise."

Ahem, that's all, thank you.]

The announcement ended.

And, Mr. Immortal and Lily were speechless.

Their expressions were blank, and their minds were frozen.

"Oh my God, did she just threaten the whole world?" Lily asked, her eyes were wide open.

"Yeah, it seems like it," the Immortal responded, and his brows were furrowed.

He was frowning, and he was deep in thought.

"What should we do now, Boss? Should we go there?" Lily questioned, her voice was shaking.

"Ahem, About that, I am feeling tired. I think we should go back home, and rest," the Immortal answered, and he sighed.

"Huh?" Lily's jaw dropped, and her eyes widened.

She couldn't believe what she had just heard.

"Ah~ man I am so sleepy," the Immortal stated, and his eyes were shut.

Lily, who was looking at him, was flabbergasted.

'Is it really because he is tired?'

'Or, is it because he is scared?'

'I wonder.'

Lily was thinking, and she was deep in thought.

The Immortal yawned and opened his eyes.

"I am really sleepy, So, I will walk to my house. I think there is a shortcut around here, which I can use." he declared, and stepped out of the car.

"See you later, Lily," he said, and he walked away.

Lily didn't move.

She was just sitting there.

Her mouth was closed, and her eyes were open.

"Pfft." She giggled.
