Chapter 177: Family

Naruto opened his eyes after Kurama forcefully closed the connection between Naruto and him. Setsuna could stay inside a bit longer but sometimes it was better to give Kurama some space to think for a while.

"Are you okay, Naruto?" said Setsuna.

"Hahahaha" Naruto laughed for a while before wiping his eyes. Clearly, he tried so hard not to cry. Just earlier, he was told that his father was the Fourth Hokage, the one who killed his parents was the Tailed Beast inside his body, and just now Kurama rejected his offer.

Setsuna, noticing Naruto trying so hard not to show he almost cry, then looked at Sasuke, who was the best person to comfort Naruto, the answer is Sasuke because their rivalry make Naruto respect Sasuke advice.

"Uchiha Sasuke," called Setsuna. "Is the Nine-Tailed in your world the one who killed Naruto's parents too?"

Hearing this, Sasuke was shocked. Even Naruto, who had just wiped his tears, looked stunned at Setsuna.

This meant the secret of Uzumaki Naruto was exposed.

"Yes," answered Sasuke.

"So did Naruto and Kurama become best friends?" asked Setsuna.

"Yes, they became very good friends with Naruto," said Sasuke.

"Do you hear that, Naruto?" grinned Setsuna.

Naruto nodded and, as usual, his cheerfulness returned again. Even though the pain hadn't fully vanished, the thought that another version of him could befriend the beast gave him hope. Maybe one day, he too could reach that point and unconcsciously clenched his fist.

"Setsuna-sama," said Queen Julia, suddenly cutting into their conversation.

For a moment, Setsuna had almost forgotten about her presence.

"Yes, Queen Julia," replied Setsuna with a polite smile.

"I just wanted to remind you that my 10,000 citizens are still trapped inside their house and this place are dying," she said with concern in her voice.

"I understand," Setsuna responded, nodding respectfully. "But please allow me a moment to explain the situation to our visitors who have come from another universe. They might not fully understand what has happened here or why. Rest assured, all your citizens can migrate to Uzushiogakure. Upon arriving, they are more than welcome to migrate by Uzumaki Clan member".

"Do you mean we cannot return to our world?" asked Boruto.

"Yes, the portal that opened a path for you to come to this world has been closed. As you can see, the Dragon Vein has exhausted all of the chakra," revealed Setsuna.

"What? Really, I can't go back?" Naruto looked horrified, and Boruto, who just wanted to protest, was shocked upon seeing Naruto's face.

"Can you try to open the path again?" asked Sasuke.

"I don't know, but we can study this sealing jutsu in Uzushiogakure. I believe Uzushiogakure is the best place to study fuinjutsu compared to the other villages," said Setsuna.

Hearing this, Sasuke just nodded. He knew Uzushiogakure well because he had once gone to that place.

"Uzushiogakure?" repeated Naruto.

"Yes, Uzushiogakure's residents are mainly from the Uzumaki Clan," replied Setsuna.

"What, but I'm an Uzumaki," said Naruto.

"Yes, it's not wrong if there are other shinobi. Like myself, I'm an Uchiha, and that man is an Uzumaki," Setsuna pointed his finger to the Uzukage.

"Hey," Naruto then stepped forward toward Uzushiogakure. "Hey brother, are you an Uzumaki too?"

"Yes, I am Uzumaki Ashina, the Uzukage," Ashina introduced himself.

"Woah, you are the Uzukage even though you're still young," commented Naruto. "Gaara also became Kage when he was very young."

"Don't let the appearance fool you. His age is already seventy years old," revealed Setsuna.

The Uzukage, who was just happy because his face looked young, snapped at Setsuna.

"You... you are seventy years old?" Naruto pointed his hand at the Uzukage while the other hand covered his mouth. "You are like Tsunade Baa-chan."

"Yes, you can even call him grandfather because who knows, you might be one of his descendants," said Naruto.

"You are my grandfather?" asked Naruto.

The Uzukage's eyelids twitched a bit upon hearing Naruto's question.

"I don't know, kid. Do you remember seeing me before?" asked the Uzukage back.

"I've never seen you before. In my time, I am the only Uzumaki left," revealed Naruto.

The Uzukage became silent.

"He is the son of Kushina," suddenly Setsuna cut in.

"Ku... Kushina? Do you mean that kid?" asked the Uzukage, his face looking shocked.

Then he took a closer look at Naruto's features. They really looked like Kushina's face.

"Hahaha, you can call me Grandpa. Kushina is my granddaughter," laughed the Uzukage.

"Really?" asked Naruto, wanting confirmation. "Then, Ji-chan!"

For a moment, Uzukage didn't respond. His lips trembled slightly before he nodded. "Ji-chan, huh? I haven't heard that words before, usually it is grandfather. Alright, Naruto. Ji-chan it is."

---Uzushiogakure---

"Welcome to Uzushiogakure," said Setsuna, welcoming a new resident to this island.

Because of his action, the Dragon Vein or Ryumyaku could no longer be used. It had exhausted all of the chakra, and for compensation, Setsuna invited them to become residents of Uzushiogakure.

The Uzukage was actually unwilling, but because of his promise to the queen, he nodded to Setsuna. He reluctantly agreed with Setsuna to move the people of Roran to Uzushiogakure. Luckily, there were only about ten thousand people living in Roran, so it was not a big problem to migrate the whole population.

Setsuna used the Anywhere Door to transfer all of them to Uzushiogakure. It took time for them to migrate to Uzushiogakure, and luckily, Setsuna had spent a considerable amount of money to build apartments in preparation for the whole clan that wanted to become members of Uzushiogakure.

Many among the people of Roran were still confused and unsure why they need to migrate to a new place, especially the children who held onto their parents tightly, afraid of the new world. But they were greeted kindly by the Uzumaki. This place was magical, filled with many buildings and new technology. What shocked them the most, however, were the roads. They had never seen roads made of black material before.

"This road is made from tar," commented Setsuna. "It's much stronger and more suitable for carriages to travel on."
