Chapter 179: Rinnegan

"What's wrong with your left eye?" Setsuna asked, his gaze fixed on cover on sasuke left eye.

"I was attacked by Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki," Sasuke replied quietly, his voice tight. His right hand touched over the cover on his left eye.

Before Setsuna could ask more, the door slid open. Izuna stepped inside the house. Setsuna glanced up and nodded, then turned to Sasuke.

"This is Izuna," he said, gesturing. "Let me introduce you properly—"

But Sasuke didn't hear the rest. His eyes widened. A bead of sweat slid down the side of his face. Slowly, he lifted his hand and pointed at the newcomer.

"Wait," he said, breath catching in his throat. "You're Madara's younger brother?"

Izuna blinked, momentarily caught off guard by the intensity in Sasuke's voice, but he nodded calmly.

"Yes. I am Uchiha Izuna, Madara's younger brother," he said, answering Sasuke question.

At once, Sasuke's Mangekyō Sharingan flickered to life and he was ready to fight. His body tensed, as if preparing to strike.

But before he could move, Setsuna stepped forward, raising a hand.

"Stand down," he said firmly. "Izuna is a member of Uzushiogakure."

The glow in Sasuke's eyes dimmed slightly. He stared at Setsuna.

"Really?"

"Yes," Setsuna replied. "Judging by your reaction, Madara must have done something terrible in your world. Please sit. Tell us what happened."

He motioned to the floor beside him, and Sasuke hesitated before deactivating his Sharingan and sitting down.

For nearly forty minutes, he spoke.

He told them everything. The downfall of the Uchiha Clan. The role Sarutobi Hiruzen had played. Obito's betrayal. Madara's manipulation. The lies spun by Black Zetsu. And at the end of it all is about Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's return.

Izuna listened in silence, eyes narrowing with each detail. When Sasuke finally stopped, his voice hoarse, Izuna leaned forward.

"You're saying… my brother is still alive?" he asked, barely above a whisper.

"In my timeline, yes," Sasuke replied. "And his actions contribute to the doom of our clan, Obito destroy the Uchiha because of Madara."

For a long moment, no one spoke. The air felt heavier now, while Setsuna just keep clam because he had known this from the start.

Before this he can only theoritize about Otsutsuki clan but the arrival of Uchiha Sasuke can provide the proof of Otsutsuki clan and now he can openly attack Black Zetsu.

"It's hard to accept," Sasuke added softly then looked at Izuna, "but I think the difference between our worlds started with your death. You died in the war in my timeline."

Izuna swallowed hard. "Setsuna… can you sense him?"

"I'll try," Setsuna said.

He closed his eyes, and his body lit with a golden chakra cloak—KCM 3 mode. At the same time, he entered Uchiha Sage Mode, a unique version tailored to their bloodline. It pulsed with quiet, focused chakra.

Twenty seconds passed before Setsuna opened his eyes again, the light fading.

"Yes," he said slowly. "It seems… he's still alive."

---Hunt Urashiki---

Setsuna had explained everything to the Uzukage—the truth about the future, the hidden war that had shaped it, and the threat that loomed beyond the scope of any single village. With testimony from Uchiha Sasuke, who had witnessed it all firsthand, the evidence became undeniable. The existence of the Ōtsutsuki clan and the manipulative force known as Black Zetsu was no longer a theory. It was a fact.

Thanks to the Jarvis Satellite System, locating Urashiki Ōtsutsuki took mere minutes. The precise technology revealed his position deep within the Land of Wind, far from any major village and nestled in the heart of the desert. The timing couldn't have been better.

Naruto and Boruto had already removed their forehead protectors. They didn't want to risk alerting Konoha or drawing unnecessary attention. This wasn't a mission sanctioned by the Hidden Leaf. It was personal.

At that very moment, Urashiki, having just slipped away from the Wind Daimyō's palace, was preparing to travel to Konoha. His goal was simple—to test the strength of Konoha's shinobi.

But before he could make his move, Setsuna appeared directly in front of him. There was no swirl of space, no sign of Kamui or any sign of summoning technique. Setsuna had mastered Apparition, a form of teleportation from Harry Potter universe, it was so fast and required no chakra and left no trace.

"You—who are you?" Urashiki asked, his smirk faint but curious. Even in the face of this sudden enemy he didn't feel pressured.

"Uchiha Setsuna," came the reply. "And I heard you come from an alternate future?"

Urashiki narrowed his eyes. He hadn't expected anyone to know that especially in this timeline.

"You look surprised," Setsuna said coolly. "Even though you never asked, your future enemy already told me everything about you." He gestured behind him, toward the approaching figure of Sasuke.

Sasuke leapt forward, his Chidori blazing with lightning. But the moment it struck, Urashiki absorbed the chakra effortlessly with a sneer.

"Uchiha Sasuke," he said with disdain. "You dare to hunt me?"

"You will die here, Urashiki," Sasuke replied without hesitation.

The others arrived one by one—Kagami, the Uzukage, Kirito, Boruto, and Naruto. They surrounded Urashiki.

"You think you're strong?" Urashiki scoffed. "I didn't return to the past because I was weak. I came here with purpose. Without that brat Uzumaki Naruto, you'd all be powerless."

"Hey! I'm Uzumaki Naruto!" Naruto shouted, stepping forward.

Urashiki grinned. "Ah, Naruto. Perfect. Thanks for bringing that brat with you."

Suddenly, his white eyes shifted, turning into a deep crimson Rinnegan.

Boruto, who had been trailing behind Naruto, gasped as a portal flickered into existence beside them. His Jōgan had activated instinctively, alerting him—but he was too late.

Urashiki had already swung his scythe down, aiming for Naruto's neck.

A flash of light appeared.

Setsuna apparated between them just in time, his blade clashing against the scythe, sparks scattering across the sand.

"You dare attack my people in front of me?" he said, his voice calm but filled with warning.

"Human beings are weak," Urashiki snarled. "And now, your worth is nothing. So die."

---The Legend Of The Past---

Boruto and Sasuke had fought against Urashiki before, and both of them knew just how troublesome his ability to teleport truly was. Urashiki could open portals from anywhere and attack in an instant, far faster than even the Fourth Hokage Hiraishin Jutsu.

That was precisely why Sasuke needed to bring Boruto along—so he could detect early if Urashiki opened a portal to strike. It was an advantage that made a significant difference in battle and without it he might lose against Urashiki.

Unlike the Hiraishin, which required a marked location, Urashiki could teleport wherever he pleased. So when Setsuna effortlessly appeared out of thin air and blocked Urashiki's blade, both Boruto and Sasuke were stunned. This was the first time they had seen a ninja from the past perform such a feat.

For Setsuna, however, the combination of Observation Haki, Kamui, and Apparition made fighting someone like Urashiki far easier than it should have been.

Without hesitation, Setsuna delivered a powerful spinning kick to Urashiki's side, sending him flying ten meters away, his body skidding across the sand.

"So, is that a Rinnegan?" Setsuna asked, eyeing him calmly.

"Yes, but his Rinnegan is different. It's red and blue," answered Sasuke.

"Really? Then maybe it's time you saw what the real Rinnegan looks like," Setsuna said, with a warning tone.

A ripple of energy surged from him. His eyes shifted—changing into the tomoe-patterned Rinnegan, the exact same one Sasuke himself possessed. No he no longer possessed because Momoshiki had destroyed that eye.

Sasuke mouth fell open. He couldn't hide his shock. He had never imagined anyone else in this time could possess the Rinnegan, especially not one like his own. Yet there it was, in the eyes of a man from the past. Not just a Rinnegan, but the tomoe Rinnegan. Just like his.
