First Catch of the Day
"This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." Sibley thought as she looked around the city, "You look mesmerized, I guess it must be incredible if you don't see it everyday." Albedo rationalized before he started walking, followed by the SpiritCatcher, "Let's get some high ground so you can have a better look." Albedo suggested as he walked up to the Cathedral where the giant statue stands tall, looking up at it Sibley felt really small, "If you think that's impressive you should look behind you." Albedo instructed, Sibley did as such and was speechless at what she saw beyond Mondstat's walls, the green fields going as far as the eyes can see, the various terrain formation, and most of all, the giant frozen mountain visible from a distance.
Albedo stepped besides Sibley who was still looking at the mountain, "Interested? That's Dragonspine, it's where I conduct most of my experiments, not many are crazy enough to go there, so it's the perfect place to conduct them, I wouldn't suggest going there without proper equipment, or someone with a Pyro Vision at least." Albedo explained, Sibley looking over to the mountain and then back to the city, she tought to test out the Freedom Matrix, she looked for a spot and saw the fountain, so she activated the matrix and stairs formed, connecting the locations, this also left Albedo speechless, "How did you do that?" He asked, to which Sibley shrugged in response before testing the solidity of the stairs and they collapsed immediately.
Right before she fell, Albedo grabbed her and pulled her back on the ledge, "You should probably find a better design for that if it was this frail." He suggeted, looking at the stair which disappeared by now. While Albedo was looking to where the stairs just were, someone else arrived, gliding over, "Hey Albedo! The girl disappeared from- Oh she's with you., I was worried for a second there." The unknown girl dressed in red said, "Were you planning to label her as a missing person if she wasn't." Albedo asked with a small smile, "Come on! I'm not that extreme!" The girl retorted before turning to Sibley, "Anyhow, I'm Outrider Amber of the Knights of Favonius! And the one who brought you to the Headquarters."

Not really knowing what to say, or write, Sibley just tilted her head in confusion, "Uhh... Well, nice to meet you...?" Amber said feeling pretty ignored due to the lack of reply, "From prior examination, she's mute." Albedo informed, "Oh! For a second I thought you were... Nevermind, what's your name?" Amber asked prompting Sibley to subconsciously reply "My name is Sibley." In her raspy and low tone, "...What?" Amber and Albedo said at the same time, making Sibley realize her whoopsy, "So much for the prank..." She said in the same tone as before, "That was a prank? I have to say, your commitment is admirable." Albedo complimented.
Sibley gave Albedo a blank look right until her Freedom Matrix started beeping, "Right, that thing on your wrist." Amber remembered noticing it while carrying her, "Why is it making that sound?" Albedo asked, seeing the intermittent light coming from the screen. Sibley brought it to her face and touched the screen, causing it to start talking, "A spirit has been detected nearby! Be careful SpiritCatcher!" It said before starting to beep again, "I thought that was to be some kind of big secret... Wait spirit?" Sibley said, realizing her job just started.
Amber and Albedo leaned in to get a closer look at the Matrix, "SpiritCatcher?" Amber said curiously, "I was told it's Multiversal Law Enforcement or something..." Sibley explained what she knew as she tapped the Matrix's screen trying to figure out what to do, "Would you like an explanation to how to work the capture function?" The matrix said, projecting a yes and no choice, "...I think you should choose yes, you seem pretty new at this." Amber suggested prompting Sibley to tap the yes option and out again came the hologram from before.
"Thank you for selecting the capture tutorial!" The hologram said as it got it's own Matrix again, "I've never seen anything like this..." Albedo muttered under his breath at the unusual sight, "To start the capture procedure, first you need to locate where the spirit is specifically!" The hologram instructed, "To do that you need to create a construct with the function to do so! Like any other construct, shape it however you want!" The hologram explained as it used it's Matrix to create a magnifing glass in it's other hand, "Then use it!" It finished, waiting for Sibley to follow it's instructions.
Sibley looked at her own Freedom Matrix and thought about how to shape it, before decining to have it as a lens floating in her hand, "That type of construct is used by looking through it! If you try other designs, it might work differently!" The hologram explained, prompting Sibley to look through the lens and around the place to spot the spirit, "This is so weird..." Amber commented looking at how Sibley was operating, which also caught the attention of some passerbies who noticed the peculiar situation, "I still can't see the spiri- There it is..." Sibley said while looking at Amber through the lens which showed a cyan flame inside of her.
The hologram went to stand besides Amber, "It looks like the spirit is hidden inside this person! While you can also find spirits wandering around the place, it's a higher possibility that they're hidden!" The hologram explained, "Inside me!?" Amber exclaimed in shock, "That was unexpected... What happens now?" Albedo asked with concern slightly visible on his face, "If the spirit is hidden inside someone, then you need to extract it before catching it! Although it's reccomended to prepare a trap in advance since the spirit can still run away." The hologram added as it started showing some of the infinite trap designs, "Okay, so I guess extracting can also be done however so..." Sibley stopped to think about how to approach this.
The first step she decided to take is prepare a trap which is designed as a spirit triggered snare, as for the extracting she first tried making a claw, but Amber quickly expressed her disagreement with the approach, so Sibley formed a vacuum of some sort, "Now hold still." She instructed Amber who stood as still as she possibly could, allowing Sibley to activate the vaccum, electricity shooting from it and anchoring inside Amber and pulling out the cyan flame, at which time the snare activated, trapping the spirit inside, "Congratulation on your first catch SpiritCatcher! Hope this will help you catch many more!!" The hologram cheered before disappering.
Now Sibley just looked at the trap for a moment wondering what to do, before deciding to use the vaccum to try and put it in the Matrix, which worked and the spirit was sealed inside, "I did not see my day going in this direction." Amber commented, "I don't think anyone did." Albedo added, "I might as well get used to this, doubt it'll be the last time." Sibley said, before checking an app on the matrix called spirit index, opening it showed the informations of the spirit she caught.

Information: This spirit is a coward, it'd rather hide away forever than try and cause trouble like all other spirits.
"We just found the black sheep of spirits... I feel observed..." Sibley said, not realizing that everyone was still staring due to the stuff that just happened, the attention however immediatly shifted to the giant dragon that flew down to drop down five people and the it flew away, not before making all the windmills spin, "...WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?!?" Sibley yelled in shock, causing a coughing fit which went on for a minute, with Amber patting her back to help her relieve it.
Soon after the coughing fit ended, Sibley looked at the five people who just arrived, seeing a mascot, a bard, a blonde boy, a blonde woman and a redheaded man. "...So I'm gueesing you're Jean?" Sibley asked while looking at the woman, "That would be me, yes." She confirmed with a nod.

"Wait, you're the one Amber brought in." Jean realized, "Glad to see you're doing alright, I'm sure Albedo informed you that I wanted to talk with you, but that will have to wait a little longer." She excused herself, "In the meantime feel free to tour Mondstat." She offered before going back to the Headquarters. "I swear, without Jean I don't know what we'd be doing, if it wasn't for her telling us to prepare and defend Mondstat we probably would have been overwhelmed quickly." Amber admitted looking at Mondstat's main gate, "Wait, you mean tht Mondstat was attacked while we were away?" The blonde haired boy asked.

As he said that, Diluc laid eyes on Sibley and narrowed them, "You look awfully pale, are you okay?" He asked with a bit of concern in his voice, "Right, I didn't even realize that." Albedo noticed as he placed a hand on Sibley's forehead and felt that it was as cold as before she took the medicine, "The medicine you took seems to have lost it's effect, but you should have kept at that temperature..." Albedo thought outloud, "Hold on, Paimon is not sure who this is..." The floating pixie said with an unsure look.

"Right, this is Sibley, a girl I found during one of my patrols, she was passed out near one of the camps you helped me deal with." Amber introduced the SpiritCatcher, "I did see some knights carry someone to the Headquarters, that must have you." Diluc deduced, "Weren't there five of you?" Sibley asked, noticing that one of them disappeared, "Huh?" Aether let out as he looked around, taking note that the bard went away, "Paimon will never get that Tone-deaf Bard..." Paimon lamented with a facepalm.
Seeing as they were busy, Sibley decided to go off on her own, so she formed a propeller above herself, grabbed it and flew off on top of Barbatos' statue to have a better look around, "I swear this place beats my old world by mile." She thought outloud, not noticing how those she left on the ground were a little surprised by what happened, "I knew it! You're from another world just like Aether!" The bard said from behind her, causing Sibley to stumble down the statue, but manage to catch herself with a hook she formed right before falling down.

Sibley climbed back up to the top of the statue with Venti's help, "Sorry about that, I didn't expect to surprise you that much, I'm Venti your run around the mill bard- What are you doing?" He asked right after introducing himself, seeing that Sibley formed some kind of scope that she pointed at him and was looking at the screen on her arm, "Calling out your bullshit Barbatos, there's no way a regular bard could just appear up here." Sibley said with a slightly accusatory tone to which Venti flinched at being called out like that, "So you're a God... Anemo Archon? I should inform myself more about that..." Sibley said to herself, reading the seemingly successful scan she did on the bard.
Having done this scan also confirmed something for her, the Freedom Matrix could truly operate however she wanted, she just needed to design how the operations functioned, "That thing on your wrist seems powerul... Or is it part of you arm?" Venti asked watching Sibley interact with the device, "The first time I touched it, it felt like flesh, but it's becoming more solid, so I'm not really sure." She admitted her ignorance on the matter.
"HEY! SIBLEY!" Amber called out from the statue's feet catching the SpiritCatcher's attention, "JEAN IS READY TO TALK TO YOU! COME DOWN!" She informed and waited for Sibley to come down, "I guess we'll continue this talk later, see ya!" Venti said before disappearing in a flash. Sibley decided to come down the same way she came up, so she formed another propeller and flew down, "You got to show me the things you can do with that some day, but for now follow me." Amber instructed as she grabbed Sibley's hand and ran off to the HQ.
