Kre funny expression was something I was just going to ignore.
I said, without bothering to ask her why she was looking like that,
"I had another dream, where I followed a critter that was named Fira into this clearing in a forest. Fira was purple, pink, and green… I think those colors on Fira mean something! The surrounding area was just big trees and it was misty there, so there wasn't much else detail.
So, you know that pink potion you helped me make based off that first dream I had? Since it works, we can safely say the dreams I've been having are really helping me to resolve my issue!"
"Okay then, that's awesome!" She said. She looked behind me and got up.
I said, staring ahead, "And now I believe the dreams are telling me to make another one that's green, I think. All of their meanings have been really obvious in how the colors have been portrayed. And you know the purple light in my room help too in keeping me from getting dizzy. If I put all of this stuff together-"
"Then your symptoms may go away!" she waved her hand away as if all my troubles will go away with it.
"Yeah!"
"Zi, watch out!" her hand froze.
I heard something behind me. Something was flying around making a lot of noise, and it wasn't a Cilias, as I glanced back at it. I got up so fast and we both ran. The buzzing was louder and I almost tripped when I heard it say-
"Zi, Kre," in the cutest voice.
We both froze. It flew in front of us. It was a cute purple, green, and pink thing… Fira! Krea was stunned. I smiled.
"Zi." Krea whispered.
"Yup." I said feeling giddy. "That's Fira."
"OMG OMG."
Fira told us to sit down and Fira landed in front of us and pawed the ground with soft furry feet.
Us girls both smiled at each other and I pulled my knees to my chin and hugged them. Krea sat close to me and looked around our small quiet place, away from everyone and everything. There were birds, bugs, and frogs here singing, jumping, and stuff.
We made a lean-to in a small wooded area that was not too far from where my best friend stayed. This is where she grew up.
When we found this place, we were actually trying to do a project I had to get done for science class.
Krea tagged along and this turned out to be a pretty decent spot to get away and chill alone and be at peace with the surrounding environment. I had to figure out a class of animals to write about for the project. The paper had to be five pages! I collected a lot of data and decided to go with mammals. There were squirrels and rabbits around so I took pictures of them and included them in my paper.
Krea wanted to do some sketches while we were out here. Her pictures were really nice! They had a certain quality about them that made her seem like an expert. She let me add them to my research and I got a good grade on it! It is fun being able to do things like this with her in my new hometown, Calicrow.
Another time, me and Krea wanted to build a treehouse. We thought it would be a good idea to make this place a hideout and talk about the mysticals from my hometown Tortor. We had hammers and nails to use since my dad knew how to build stuff. We brought some wood along to make a ladder on one of the trees but decided not to after all. We both were scared of heights and just remembered that after making the second ladder and trying to climb it! We fell down laughing and just made a safe lean-to.
It's the most awesome hide out we have found and I knew this was why we were such best friends! We have so much in common!
Krea reached out to touch Fira and Fira disappeared. We were both star struck and wondered if we would ever see Fira again...
I went to sleep that night and didn't dream. The two moons Xenar and Styla shimmered silver and black light across the star ridden sky. Starcatchers would be out at this time collecting solar energy. You could see them flying like shooting stars. They are very powerful beings that are able to host stars within themselves and absorb dark matter.
I woke up and yawned. My hair left glowing highlights on my pillow. I plucked one off and let it float onto the floor, illuminating a small portion of the carpet from where it laid. I stretched out my arms and got up.
I walked to the bathroom and stared in the mirror. My eyes were tri-colored but it was barely noticeable but still pretty cool. I blinked and scratched my head. I was so glad I didn't have roommates. My parents were able to help me pay my rent but I have to get a job soon. I remembered nothing from my nights sleep and it was confirmation I probably should continue with the plan. There was nothing more to glean.
I still can't believe I saw Fira! Krea was talking about it for hours! I try to let her in to the mystical world since it was barren here in Calicrow. Well, maybe not so much anymore...
I went back into my room and checked my phone. Krea had texted me. I had another message. It was from my mom! I quickly texted them back. It was also time for me to cut my nails.
I broke my last nail clipper and my dad gave me one that was heavier and could break through my tough sharp nails. My nails were shiny and looked like I layered it with metallic nail polish. I liked to paint them different colors and now they were a nice sky blue color with black tips.
So, I had an older sibling. They disappeared a few years ago. I missed them. They would send us a letter every year but don't explain much. Our parents waited too long to let them know about their identity I guessed.
One day when everyone was eating breakfast my sibling walked into the kitchen, looked at us, then walked out the door. I thought I saw something funny but wasn't sure what it was.
My parents thought they were going to the store or something, but they never came back. It made me mad because we were really close and they didn't tell me why they left or give me a heads up. My parents had a talk afterwards and I heard them say they are going to find them. I hope so.
