I was in my neatly arranged room, waiting for my beloved Cecily to come up with our breakfast. Five minutes passed, and I decided to go and check on her because I was starving.

I was about to ask why she hadn't finished cooking, but then I noticed something. She sat on the kitchen chair, leaning against the cupboard, looking pale and fragile. "Baby, what's wrong?" I asked. She had already prepared everything, but what happened?

"It's nothing. Can you help me take the food up?" she asked, her voice weak. I took the food upstairs, and she followed suit.

"I'm not hungry, you can start eating," she said, keeping a distance of about five shoulder lengths. Was she angry with me? I tactfully stood up and pulled her close, kissing her. She responded positively. But when I brought her close to the food, her mood changed. I took a piece of sushi and brought it close to her mouth, but she pushed me away and ran to the toilet. I had no time to think because I heard her throwing up, and I rushed to her. She was done when I arrived, so I handed her water, and she washed her mouth before hugging me, sobbing. I patted her hair and planted a kiss there. "Let's visit a doctor," I suggested, and she nodded.

We entered the hospital and went straight to meet the doctor. After some tests, he prescribed medication, and then, "Your wife is pregnant, four weeks," the doctor said. I looked up in surprise, and our gazes met. I could see the happiness in his eyes, and before the blink of an eye, my feet left the ground, and I was spinning her around. "Put me down," she complained, her face red with embarrassment. I planted a kiss on her lips.

We reached Shawn's house to share the good news. I found the two lovers watching something together, with Alice laying on Shawn's lap. After sharing the information, "Cecily is pregnant!" Alice exclaimed in happiness. She rushed and hugged her. "I'm so happy for you," Shawn said.
