She died and was reborn as Rin Nohara, a character destined to die. She would change her fate and she would change the fate of all the others. Maybe Kakashi wouldn't be depressed. Maybe Obito wouldn't go down the darkside and maybe Naruto could keep his dad. On the other hand... she could live a normal life, be a normal shinobi, get married, have kids, then die a normal death of natural cause. But if she's a jinchuurkiki... how's she going to do that? *sigh...* life is so hard...

Naruto: Resilience

"You mean she's just been staying with you?" I stared openmouthed at Kakashi.

"Well yes," said Kakashi, "She doesn't eat much, does her chores, listens well enough. Sometimes I forget she's even there!"

"I'm right here!" said the redhead.

"So… Karin… Uzumaki…" I stared at Kakashi, "You actually listened and kidnapped her from Kusa?"

"Yes he did," said Karin, "Are you the one who told him to?"

"No," she answered, "I'm glad. I hated that village. Everyone treated me like a human chakra bag. I'm just a bit sad that I'm leaving mother behind."

"Huh." I said, "She's kind of like Kushina in a way."

"Theres more of us?" asked Karin, "Can I meet her?"

"Well… no…" I answered, "She's in a coma. But, you can meet her son, your cousin, Naruto. He's leaving today to go train with Jiraya but I suppose you can come with us to go say goodbye."

"I have a cousin?" she asked, "Wait does this mean I get to stay?"

"Yes," I answered, "I'll have Tsunade register you as a citizen of Konoha."

"Naruto!" I hugged him, "I'm gonna miss you so much!"

"Big Sis," Naruto tried to push me away… and succeeded, "Sorry. I'm gonna miss you too."

"Aww," I handed him a scroll, "For you… theres a lot of instant ramen in there."

His eyes lit up, "I'm gonna eat it slowly and save it up!"

"Yeah right," grinned Genma, "Leaning against the village gate. You're probably gonna eat it all on day one."

"Ramen?" Karin looked at Naruto, "This is my cousin? He doesn't have red hair."

Naruto looked at her for a moment, "Cousin? Red hari? Big sis, how come she looks like my mom."

"Cause she's your cousin." I explained, "Totally forgot about her until today. She's here to say hi, and goodbye."

"I'm Uzumaki, Naruto," he said, "I'm gonna become a super strong shinobi and maybe the next hokage!"

"I'm Uzumaki, Karin," she said, "I'm going to become a strong shinobi too! And, I'm going to help Konoha because they saved me."

The two Uzumaki's bonded immediately. With that, Naruto and Jiraya left the village and would return in about 2.5 years.
